Protein Flatbread mix is a powdered mix of plain white flour and our whey protein concentrate. Protein Flatbread Mix can be combined and then baked or fried to make a great tasting, high protein flatbread which can be consumed with a number of different foods including soups, homemade dips or meat. These flatbreads are perfect for taking to work, when on the go or sharing with your friends.

To make your own protein packed flatbreads simply add 3 large scoops (100g) of powder to 120-150ml of warm water and 2 tsp of olive oil. Mix the powder and then form a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes and then set aside. Separate into 4 balls and roll out to strips. Griddle on a high heat for 2 minutes or bake for 10-12 minutes.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This product is intended to be used alongside an active lifestyle and a balanced diet. Suitable for vegetarians.

I then fry it with a little oil and it becomes like a savoury crepe. This is an amazing base for anything you want to put on top of it, like a curry or a salad. You can even make it into a little pizza with some tomato puree and cheese. I genuinely eat this maybe 3-4 times a week. Its cheap, quick, delicious and a really good low carb, low fat base for anything you're eating. This has made my diet much easier and enjoyable. Thank you myprotein! I liked this, but I'm glad I saw the reviews on here first! I only used 50ml of water and this was still too much; it turned in to a gluey mess- I could've hung wallpaper with the dough. More mixture sorted it out, but I've got a lot of cleaning to do. It cooked well and tasted pleasant enough, slightly sweet. The texture was more crumbly and scone-like than traditional flatbread, but I didn't have a problem with this. Not a bad effort and 40% more protein than the seeded bread I normally have. Big fan of my protein products but this is not good. Was excited to make my own flat bread but this product is not nice. Don't follow the instructions on the back, they are wrong. The flavour isn't nice either. It's a shame but would advise you don't buy it.
This product is absolutely awful. Do not waste your time or money buying this. After trying to follow the instructions had to add about 10 extra scoops. Was till too sticky and then had to add extra plain flour of my own. Taste and texture is rubbish too. Goes Well With:The bin
No matter how i tried all i ever got was a sloppy mess more pancake mix then dough run out of mix now wont be getting again as it all went down the drain every time which is a shame as im missing bread as on a low carb diet
First: do not be blinded like other customers thinking that because it is a Protein Flatbread mix, it magically will not have carbs. It is stupid to rate low this product because it has "too much" carbs, this is a flatbread! but with higher protein value. It is a good base, but you need to add some seasonings in order to get something edible. Do not exceed baking time and watch it every now and then as your oven heat levels may vary from the instructions. It will get sticky, use a spoon or spray some olive oil on your hands to either mix it or roll it on a baking pan. Makes a good side dish for your higher carb meal of the day. Goes Well With:Flavoured Olive Oil, Pico de Gallo, "pulled" chicken.
Having been very interested in purchasing this I am a little disappointed to read the amount of carbs in the ingredients list! 51g of carbs (from wheat) which will probably come as a shock to those who believe they are buying a protein rich dough. This is very misleading if you are trying to avoid carbs or bloat caused by wheat.

Instructions are wrong, I had used 130ml of water with 4 scoops and it was like batter, so I had to keep adding more, was something like 15 scoops in the end. When I read the ingredients I was shocked as it's just plain white flour and protein mix! I already use unflavoured protein, so all I needed was a bag of 50p flour!
First of all, I didn't follow the instructions and used it as a substitute of flour to make a pizza dough. 150ml of warm water, 1 teaspoon of sugar and half of active yeast. Left it rest for 15 mins until it got active and mixed it with 6 scoops of flatbread mix, a pinch of salt and a table spoon of sunflower oil. I let it rest for 2 hours and the result was outstanding. Added mozzarella, ham and tomato, Baked it for 15 mins at 275 degrees in a fan assisted oven. The texture and taste was incredibly good. Goes Well With:Any pizza toppings
I used this mix to create my own protein pizza. The mix was very easy to make as it only needed two ingredients. I suggest making the actual pizza base thin as it will crisp up in the oven and is a great base for you to add your pizza toppings. I've been using Myprotein products for years, and have pretty much used the lot, and have always rated the products as excellent and the best value supplements on the market. So when the "foods" came out I was curious to try. This flatbread mix product is, disappointingly, garbage. I made a point of following mix levels put in the reviews, but even then, it just makes a awful sticky mess. I'll continue to use the other products, but I'd drop this from the line Myprotein, it's just not up to scratch. Goes Well With:The inside of my brown bin.
I agree with most of the reviews on here that the packet instructions are misleading. Follow them at your peril as you will end with a complete mess. I found that by adding approx 100ml of water to one scoop with a little oil works best. I actually make them like pancakes. Add the runny mix into a hot frying pan and in a couple of mins you will have a pancake size flat bread. Get one side really crispy if you prefer. For a filling I spend avocado with sliced tomatoes and a little salt. Fold over and cut in half...this makes a great snack of breakfast! Goes Well With:avocado and tomatoes.
I really liked the taste of the product and it's great to have in the morning - much more filling than regular bread as well, so after two small pieces I was full and had energy until lunch! However, I was really struggling with the doses and was more often ending up with a pancake-like dough, very liquid and thus impossible to cook. Goes Well With:Peanut Butter and Cottage Cheese
I've been using myprotein for years, tried many products and have always been satisfied...until now. I admit I'm not the greatest chef in the world but I couldn't get this product to mix with the suggested usage, asked my otherhalf to restart it and she also struggled with the constancy, it came out really thick and doughy. Won't be bothered to make it again if anyone wants half a bag?
