I am so very disappointed in that product, as the use of these two superlatives may suggest. I had great hope for these pancakes. They looked amazing in the pan. I was on cloud 9, I could see myself eating these every frickin day. Why, why did it have to taste like CARDBOARD??? Imagine the sheer terror when i took my first bite. I do not recommend. Eat real pancakes on your cheat day or try another brand but this is garbage. Goes Well With:Paper, paper clips, folders, BECAUSE IT'S CARDBOARD GET IT hahaha ?
it tastes horrible, too much sweetener on it, a total waste of moneyGoes Well With:nothing
These are the best things so quick and easy the rating for mix was because it's just a lil hard to get the cooking texture right but after 3 bags I've nailed it amaze Goes Well With:Maple syrup and streaky bacon or fruit
Obviously losing weight is a combination of millions of factors but if I were to attribute my success to one product it would be this. I find them tasty and filling. They mix relatively well if you use a ball and shaker. 150ml of milk and 50g pancake powder cooked on quite a low heat is perfect for me. I've been having these for breakfast most days for about a year and haven't wanted anything else. Great product.
The mix is quick to use, mix with milk for a perfect batter! The maple syrup flavour was way too sweet for my own personal liking and I found the pancakes sticking to the pan a bit due to the sugar caramelising! Consistency of the pancakes are nice. I might try add to my own pancake mix to lightin the flavour.Goes Well With:Probably better off with ice cream as a desert but if your not mad for sweet things I wouldn't bother and try an other flavour
I've managed to eat this as my breakfast or lunch, but have found it virtually unpalatable on its own.Goes Well With:Lemon juice.
I bought these as I needed to have something easy to make a massive amount to have for breakfast over the course of a couple days. The first time I made them I thought they were too sweet so I now mix one egg, 1 cup of oats, and a banana (I use a fork to make it into a paste which is easier to blend). This with some greek yogurt and blueberries is so good, and so easy for work! It'll last me the full week if i double the amount of ingredients! Love love love!
Ordered pancake mix in maple syrup flavour. Order arrived this morning so I thought I would try them out at lunchtime, really good results, really good taste. Made them like normal pancakes rather than thicker smaller pancakes and the taste was surprisingly good!! A little dry so might try adding a syrup or yogurt and fruit.
I was excited to try this as I have been thinking about making them for ages. I followed the instructions on the back but realised that they are very filling so I halved the ingredients.
Best I've used for taste, mix ability and flavour
Stuck to the pan a lot, they were extremely dry and didn't taste very nice at all
There is a weird overwhelming egg taste to it and the pancake is kind of a rubbery texture. Easy to eat though if dowsed in chocolate sauce or nutella. Goes Well With:Nutella
Super convenient to microwave the mixture in a mug for a protein cake - add yoghurt and a couple of berries for a yummy treat! Goes Well With:Greek yoghurt and berries
Love the Golden Syrup flavour- look forwar to them after workouts if I need something tasty !Goes Well With:Cuppa
I got these and followed instructions and didn't really work at all, all they did was stuck to the pan. Ive now made my own recipe.... 25g of the protein pancake mix, 1 egg and 1 egg white, greek yoghurt, berries , banana and rolled oats, blend together and then fry.....delicious
Excellent value for money both the protein bars and pancake mix and with continious savings with the discounts you receive great product with all the nutrution you need
Mixed them in the blender so they were nice & smooth. They didn't stick to the pan & cooked quickly but then I took a taste & almost choked! How is it possible for them to be so dry?! I'm going to try & tweak the recipe to make them better but I will not purchase again. Making my own pancakes from scratch & adding protein powder tastes 1000x better. At least with them I don't have to have my family waiting round the breakfast table ready to give me the Heimlich maneuver whilst I eat them!!Goes Well With:Lots & lot's of water to try & wash them down
Very very dry. Not very enjoyable to eat.
I buy these regularly, and love them, great and easy to use, and filling for a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend to all my fitness friends and colleagues. Brilliant brand.Goes Well With:Spoonful of porridge oats for fibre and carbs.
Tastes disgusting has a rubbery texture. Total waste of money
