Spot on for a cheeky Sunday Brekkie(with the trimmings).. Macro/Cal friendly..Goes Well With:Sugar free Mayple Syrup
Was hard to mix, consistency was quite thick mixed with 150-200ml of milk. Far too sweet and left a sweet taste in my mouth for an hour. I ate with yoghurt to try and bring the sweetness down...didn't work! If you have a sweet tooth then you may like them!Goes Well With:Nothing!
I've been using MP products for the last three months and I couldn't be more satisfied. After jumping from one brand to another, I'm happy I finally found the one. The flavours of the protein powders are amazing, they mix perfectly in water and they give you a nice protein boost. Absolutely recommended!
Whilst this mix is really easy to mix up just by adding a bit of milk, the taste is not very nice at all. I have both golden syrup and chocolate. They only take a few minutes to fry but the final product is very dry and rubbery. I have eaten them on numerous occasions for breakfast now just to use up the mix seeing as it's paid for, but each time it leaves me feeling nauseous throughout the morning. They do not feel like a treat at all, more like a punishment. I've even bought two of the syrups (butterscotch and chocolate) to try and make them more appetising but this made them even worse as the syrups taste disgusting - nothing like they're supposed flavours. Goes Well With:Nothing
So in theory, great idea, but in practice, not so much. Nice and chocolaty, yes, easy to make, not necessary to have a lot of ingredients in, yes, but the taste? Does not make it worth it. Slightly better texture than if eatting cardboard... Resembles a real pancake and yes, is edible, but honestly, wouldn't take another packet if they offered it for free. Goes Well With:Nutella, a lot of it to cover up the chewy cardboard taste...
I tried them as pancakes as well as crepes and I can honestly say with the minimal amount of effort you need to put to make them and decent taste on top the mix is definitly worth a buy. Maple syrup flavour is nice and sweet but not sickly sweet. If you like a sweet post workout snack give this flavour a try. Although you can taste the egg a little while eating I think it shouldn't be a big deal consideing amazing macros! Pretty content :) Goes Well With:Almond milk, cinammon, toppings of your choice
My boyfriend and I tried a small pack of the golden syrup pancakes. We followed the suggested mixing quantities and found them to be way too dry, dense and chewy. Then we tried mixing double the amount of milk to make a crepe-type pancake which was spot on texture-wise. Taste-wise, they were much too sweet, so we will try the larger pack of unflavoured pancake mix next time and maybe use the MyProtein maple syrup to moisten them.
the golden syrup taste is toooooo sweet!
I bought the pancake mix as it was on offer. Previously I had tried similar mixes witg different brands and found them messy to use! However, this mix was so simple and tasted great! The only criticism I could find is that there isn't a lot in the packet compared to the size of the bag it comes in.Goes Well With:Sugar free syrup
I've bought the maple syrup flavour and it took me ages to finish because the taste was too much for me. It was very sweet and weird! I am happy with the mix though. If you use a shaker with the mesh ball inside you'll end up with a very smooth mixture! I have used milk instead of water in mine. It's personal preference though. I would buy a different flavour to give it a second go for sure. Goes Well With:Milk, fruits, honey
I dont quiet know how these have got such great reviews! I bought the golden syrup flavour and it was horribly sweet. I have a sweet tooth but this was new level and tasted entirely of the artificial sweetners.
A great snack which is quick and easy to make but also tastes great!Goes Well With:Peanut butter and my syrup
I've tried chovolate flavour. It's just simply amazing. Good macros, good taste. Way better than unhealthy one what you can buy from shop. Some people just should follow instructions. I'm pretty sure most of them complain because they try to mix it by hand. You should mix in shaker or blender, than never gonna be lumpy. And it's not same like a plastic... this product is perfect! Thank you Myprotein!Goes Well With:Actually it's goes well with Myprotein custard mix, or cottage cheese, or Myprotein sugarfree syrup.
I've tried both the maple and golden syrup flavours, both extremely yummy! However I can see how they could be overly sweet for some. I only wish they got rid of the glucose syrup solids in them and replaced the sweetener with stevia for a healthier breakfast. Amazing protein content though so I'm not going to complain too much. Goes Well With:Berries and Greek yoghurt with a sprinkle of raw cacao powder.
I had high hopes for these pancakes but they are very artificially sweet and card board like when warm but like plastic when cooled. Very disappointed.
The unflavoured protein mix is the best. I add in a few spoonfuls of cinnamon to the mix and it tastes great. I have added cocoa powder to make them chocolatey.. I have also added vanilla essence before. Bottom line is unflavoured is better to mix with any other natural flavours of your choice - much better than any unhealthy artificial powder flavours they add in that make it taste too sweet or fake.. I really recommend. Goes Well With:Berries, honey, yoghurt, lemon, peanut butter etc
Doesn't need to taste so sweet. The concept and base taste is lovely. I want a couple of these as a side of some scrambled eggs. I only use a half scoop of two of these babies. Won't be buying another bag of this - might try another flavour (if the have them) Goes Well With:Scrambled eggs and boiled down berries
Ordered before and the recipe was spot on this time round far less in the bag and not as good a taste, won't be ordering again!Goes Well With:Greek yogurt
This stuff is amazing. I just buy the plain version and have the pancakes as a savoury meal. Great with poached eggs and ham or bacon and sugar free MP maple syrup. I eat them almost every day! Big thumbs up!Goes Well With:Eggs, ham, turkey, bacon and/or maple syrup
Too much sucralose and artifcial sweetener, impossible to stomach and the after taste is horrid.Goes Well With:The bin.
