Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The carbohydrates in Instant Oats will contribute to muscle recovery† after high intensity and/or endurance exercise. Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 2 1/3 large scoops (100g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained through consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours of exercise.

Great tasting oats, ideal for smoothies

These oats are perfect. Easy to get into a smoothie in the morning before work with protein and blueberries! The chocolate flavour mixes perfect with chocolate protein!

Best oats I’ve found

Iv been using myprotein for about 7 years now but only recently tried these oats as I used to but supermarket porridge oats. These myprotein oats are so much better as they are finely milled so can even be added to a protein shaker and mixed with whey to create a fast, on the go pre or post workout shake that’s got all you need to fuel your workouts.

Good but can be quite grainy

Brillant flavour and makes me feel great everytime i have but just leaves a grainy feel in the mouth no matter how much i mix it and in different ratios of oats to milk overall this product is still very good amd i would recommend
