What is Omega 3?

Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid sourced from fish oil, which is rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). As humans are incapable of synthesising Omega 3, it is essential that we consume them via dietary sources.

Quality fish oils that have been working great with my current maintenance diet to meet requirements for essential fatty acids, the EPA and DHA fatty acid content is sufficient i find at a dose of around 4 - 6 softgels per day, i tend to have 2 with my main meals either twice or three times per day, since using omega 3 on a regular basis in combination with CLA i have noticed better overall body composition, i have become slightly leaner overall in the midsection, mental clarity and mood have also improved which i attribute to the positive effect the essential fatty acids have on brain health. Good product which works well with a solid multivitamin to support optimal health and wellbeing, heart and brain health, i also find it lubricates joints and makes heavier lifting easier and less intensive on my joints. These soft gels provide a good decent source of efa's e.g. EPA and DHA which are two fatty acids which cannot be produced by the body e.g. these essential fatty acids are important for general health and wellbeing in that they allow for optimal heart and brain function, i also find they work well to lubricate my joints and make training sessions with heavy weights more bearable.
