Suggested Use

Add 7-10oz of water or milk into our shaker (the less liquid the thicker the shake will be). Then add 30g, shake and consume. Use just before bedtime for optimum results, but can also be taken between meals or 2-3 times a day.

The research is inconclusive as to whether this calcium excretion from bone resorption contributes to osteoporosis. A regular intake of calcium stabilizes this loss. But then another issue arising from over-consumption of protein is a higher risk of kidney stone formation from calcium in the renal circulatory system.

After reading many positive reviews about Micellar Casein I decided to buy the chocolate flavour thinking it would be the same taste as the Impact Whey Protein in chocolate. I was completely shocked to find it wasnt. Impact whey protein in chocolate is very nice, with milk and water. Micellar Casein in chocolate smells odd, and tastes odd with both water or milk. It states to use over one scoop of powder but this makes the shake so thick that i needed a spoon to "eat" it! I dont know how i will ever use up 2.5kgs of this stuff however I wouldnt recommend the chocolate, not sure what the other flavours taste like. Disappointed.

I got the vanilla flavour mostly mixed it with either almond milk or water. Taste is good some time i blend it a banana for extra texture. I used it a month a long with whey protein, my aminoboost and i see a difference.

This casein tastes quite nice in chocolate, it is chalky in texture compared to whey protein and whey protein isolates, it also mixes to form a thicker texture which makes for a more filling and dense protein shake, this has a 6-7 hour digestion time vs normal whey which is around 45-60 minutes which makes it more suitable for use in between meals and before bed. Casein works even better mixed with whey protein to slow the absorption and has been proven to be more effective for muscle building than using either on their own. First time using casein? If you use this like I do, then you will like it. If you don't you'll probably hate it. What you need to know. 1. Texture of the stuff is totally different and harder to mix (e.g. getting it from the scoop to the mixer) 2. If you mix it in a old school protein shaker - the texture will be like diarrhoea and you will regret buying this product... However.... 3. If you mix it in a blender, you will get a texture just like a nice, warm hot chocolate. I hated this product until I read somewhere to use an electronic blender or smoothie maker for this product - and I need to tell you, they were right. I put 300 ML water + 2 heaped scoops of protein in my blender (around 45-50g of night time protein until you're asleep) and turn blender on for around 3-5 minutes. As long as the heat from the machine warms up the liquid, it will be just lot hot chocolate. Once you've had it it will keep you relatively full. If you feel really bloated and you start feeling sickly it means you're lactose intolerant, so I wouldn't' personally use if it plays with your belly. Enjoy. Highly recommend.

Purchased this by accident. I should have got the Elite version which is more expensive. After it arrived I compared both versions both the nutritional and ingredient listings on the back of the bag are exactly the same and I'm now struggling to see what the difference is between the regular Casien powder and Elite Casien powder (more expensive) is. Both powders seem exactly the same. If anyone can shed any light on my issue I'd appreciate it.
