I took the recommended dose and had twitching eye and electricity in foot. I cut it dose in half, and I still get tingling but the results are amazing. This is the very best supplement.

I can't say I noticed massive differences when taking this product, I maybe had a little more energy but it's hard to say. The taste and mixability were fine though and easy to take.

Magic
5 out of 5 stars
I first discovered this supplement late last year. The results are quite fantastic. Beta Alanine in itself is actually not magical, but what is magical, is what it enables your body to do. Carnosine is actually the magic here, and B alanine enables the body to produce more of it. Strangely, if the body is supplemented with Carnosine directly, nothing happens. The body only has a limited amount of Beta Alanine and hence a limited amount of Carnosine. So some clever scientist realised the key to producing more Carnosine is to increase the amount of B Alanine in the body and the result is amazing. 5g per day is the suggested dose, and the best thing to do in the first few weeks is take half a dose in the morning and the other half just before you leave for the gym. If you take more then 3g you will get the tingles within 10 minutes, but they pass after about 15 minutes. However, after about 3 weeks you don't really get the tingles anymore - I now take 5 to 6g in one hit and no longer get the tingles. The product looks a bit like sugar, and when mixed with a small amount of water, it eventually dissolves until the water is clear. I usually add some Creatine Mono to it once the Beta is dissolved, and then neck it in one. I then drink another full glass of water (Creatine advice is 100ml water for every 1g creatine taken). I also take water to the gym. Take this combo 25 minutes before you get to the gym, and Calcium Caseinate 5 minutes after you take the Beta and Creatine, and your gym session will explode. The first 2 weeks and nothing will happen, but during week 3 you feel like a monster; amazing pump, more reps, big increase in endurance, fat loss, and even on non-training days your body will feel really tight. Remember, for best results a good quality diet is essential, you are what you eat. Goes Well With: Creatine Mono (Creapure). Calcium Caseinate.

I've been using it for only two weeks now! And since I have been using it, my bench press increased significantly, my squats have gone up, as have my deadlifts. I love it! People report that they experience tingles. I for one don't get the tingles, but I guess I'm just lucky. But I would certainly recommend beta alanine to anyone wanting to put on some strength and size! If drinking with water, I would recommend you mix it well and drink it fast, as it doesn't taste the best. But you shouldn't be worried about the taste considering how amazing this supplement is! Goes Well With: Caffeine, Creatine Monohydrate, Impact Whey Protein

Beta Alanine

I really rate this supplement, although be warned if you take a bit too much first time round - it makes you very tingly and spaced out and sickly so I had to find a quiet room in the office and lie down for a half hour. I guess-timated the first time! Don't do that and you will be fine. Now I now know the correct measurements it's great. I have been taking it for a week now and I'm starting to feel effects whilst working out. I'm ready to crank it up a notch.
