I was feeling quite constipated over the past few weeks and after a lot of elimination, I put it down to the amount of protein I was consuming. This apple fibre was just what I needed. I mix it into my overnight oats every morning. There’s no taste and mixes in really well. Got me going regular again.  Goes Well With: Overnight oats

Previously always bought vita fibre but it has been out of stock for months now. Coming to the end of my final packet I thought I’d give Apple fibre a try. After reading the reviews many saying it does not mix well & doesn’t taste the best I thought I’d give it a go as you always hear bad reviews over good. Unfortunately the bad reviews are right. If the smell doesn’t put you off the horrible taste will along with the grainy texture. I’ve always mixed fibre shakes with just water but this time I’ve tried water, fruit juice, diluted juice & yogurts nothing can mask the taste or texture. It’s a shake I’m having to force down every day due advice from my dietian while trying to find something that doesn’t make me feel sick. The heartburn afterwards & the after taste does not go away for a few hours either. I would not recommend. Very upsetting since the vita fibre shakes where fantastic & never had a issue with that.    Goes Well With: Nothing! 

I dont know if I have got a faulty batch but its meant to be unflavoured. Twice now ive tried it in my porridge, once with milk and once with protein, and it tastes rank. So much so I have had to throw my porridge. A complete waste of money. It doesn't even taste like apple either. Goes Well With: the bin

I make my own fibre mix (to get a variety of fibres in) and I incorporate this Apple fibre as part of the mix (pea fibre, chia, apple fibre, psyillium, chicory inulin, vitafibre, acacia, oat bran). I find it mixes better in warm water rather than cold. I don’t find it has much flavour in my mix and I add a little juice to give it a taste. Goes Well With: Other fibres, warm drinks
