Way too small, measurements provided is not accurate

I am usually a size S and this would fit well. Shorts can be tight as they are gym clothing and my current gym shorts are M. however, this is the first time I've purchased clothing from the website and followed their detailed measurements for an S. It was extremely tight. Not at all accurate and I am within the measurements with 1-2 inches spare. But the shorts are not like this.
