Sizing and stretch faulty

According to the size charts I am XXS. However, to be safe I decided to size up to XS. But, as others have said, the waistband has zero stretch. Therefore, it’s impossible to get them over your knees, let alone, over your hips.
The fabric combined with the stitching means these have absolutely no give. Will be returning.
