Can't get these past my thighs - the sizing is inconsistent with other MP shorts I've bought in the same size, probably as it's a much thicker material and doesn't stretch much at all

I have the power leggings so expect them to me the same size. Material was exactly the same but these came up SO small. I couldn't get them past my thighs. I compared them to my power leggings and the waist is about 1 to 2 inches smaller. All size small. Definitely size up. I am returning mine.
