Waist band thick and good quality compared to all other sports shorts I’ve worn.  However the stitching on reminder of the shorts seems to be poor quality and coming apart already and I haven’t even washed them yet. Would avoid. 

These short are nice but order a size larger then you think these don't fit in line with there size guide

Great quality shorts. Very stretchy and would be perfect for deep squats and stretching sessions. The only issue I have is that the waistband is uncomfortably tight. I suppose to remedy this you could order a size larger but I haven't yet done that so I can't say if that makes a difference.
