Although I like this product, the advertisement is very misleading and nothing like the picture. This pasta isn't tubes, it's flat penne and is jelly like and chewy. So when it arrived i was disappointed but it wasn't as bad as i thought once i'd heated it up in the microwave, added some chicken and pasta sauce. If you can stomach the texture then it's great but it does take some getting used to. I'm currently cutting my weight after bulking and was struggling to keep my carb intake low until i found this pasta. It really helps with my diet and means I can still eat my muesli for for breakfast, rice and chicken for lunch as well as have a glass of wine in the evening with it fitting my macros so for me its a win win! I have been using products from my protein and have loved everything else but I couldn't stomach this. The box sady is misleading as it is a photo of real pasta this is solid tubes of milky white rubber. I knew I wasn't going to be the same as pasta clearly but I couldn't even look at this with out gagging. I was really gutted. I hate to complain so a silver lining is the rice and noodles are so much better so I would recommend those foe a low carb and calorie diet Goes Well With: Erm, nothing. But get the noodles instead

I love pasta and bolognaise sauce but being on a low carb diet I can't eat pasta. Thought I'd give the MyProtein Penne a go. Other than the shape it doesn't look like pasta. It's pure white not yellow and it doesn't have the same texture. That said, mix it in with bolognaise meat sauce or the sauce of your choosing and it does the job. You actually feel like you've eaten pasta. The individual portions make it easy to use at home or at work, wherever there's a microwave. Goes Well With: Any pasta sauce

Great low calorie substitute, boil for 5 minutes then fry in a dry pan for another 3-5 minutes for best results. 100g of this is a lot less that 100g of pasta so not really a meal's worth. Has a rubbery texture like squid but as someone who loves squid this is fine. Rinse before cooking as it smells when opened. Goes Well With: Tomato and chilli pasta sauce

it's not terrible but it's not the best either. has a rubbery like texture and doesn't have much taste but the portions are good size and mixes well with any sauce. not sure if i would buy again though
