These bars are made so much more appetising when put in the microwave for a few seconds.

The bars are very effective however, to eat straight out of the wrapper isn't very pheasent! Putting them in the microwave for a few seconds and adding fruit ways them much more appetising! Goes Well With: Any fruit

I bought a box of 12 of the chocolate bars. At first, I thought these would be ok, a bit of a risk as not knowing much about them but thought I would give them a go. When I first opened the box, the bars are extremely hard, this put me off so much, as when I've had bars in the past, I only really like them to be chewy and soft (kind of like a normal chocolate bar). Got round to having them today and the initial taste is actually ok (tastes a bit like chocolate ice cream), but after a long time chewing the very hard bar, it becomes really bitty (you'll probably know what I mean). I hate the bitty taste!! So, no, I won't be buying these again.

Compared to other protein bars, this one beats them all. The chewy texture is excellent and the taste is perfect. One bar will beat that hungry feeling until next mealtime and it doesn't leave an aftertaste like a lot of protein bars do. Anyone with sweet tooth will love these bars and the best thing is that the protein content is very good. Goes Well With: Best on their own.

It took a few bars to get up to the texture/taste but now I love them. They are sweet enough and filling. The protein content is high and they have no added sugar (although they do contain sweetner). The calories per bar are reasonable for a snack that keeps you satisfied. I usually have a bar as a mid afternoon snack and it satisfies me until dinner. I also will have one post workout if I am unable to eat 'real' food in time. I've tried cookies and cream, strawberry and vanilla, chocolate and apple and cinnamon. The chocolate is a tougher/chequer bar than the others. Out of the four flavours the cookies and cream tastes the most strange, I probably won't order that flavour again. Goes Well With: On its own.
