These flapjacks are quite moist and have a nice buttery taste to them unlike most other conventional protein based foods, the macros are slightly higher in fats but still very low compared to the full fat butter versions which do not taste much better than these if i am honest. I like the Chocolate Chunk version which has been the best overall, there is just enough chocolate pieces to balance these and make for an awesome lean mass gaining protein treat, if you want to further spice things up you can top with some almond, cashew or peanut butter and then top with some maple syrup for an awesome calorie dense treat. These are a great protein snack, i find these flapjacks to be dense and work well as a meal replacement type product, the original and chocolate flavours are both great options although i feel the chocolate chunks make these better tasting and add sweetness and improve the texture, It would be awesome if the forest fruit version was brought back as well as adding a dark chocolate or peanut butter caramel version to these flapjacks. These include around 20 grams of protein per serving from soy protein which is an effective protein source, the slow burning carbs from oats also make these great for use prior to workouts for a stable boost in energy levels. Protein Flapjacks are not too high in fat like traditional versions but still have a similar buttery flavour and texture making for a great healthier substitute. This protein bar/flapjack is perfect for anyone trying to increase their protein intake through treats or bars. There are not many protein bars that taste like this because most are dense hard and chewy as we all know but these bars (do not get them mixed with the oats and whey bars) although don't taste like your cafe's traditional flapjack taste like genuine flapjacks and they aren't dense and hard they have a soft texture and taste and are very filling and pack a big punch of protein and they do not leave a whey protein after taste and these bars you will actually enjoy and they taste rewarding and they are perfect for any time of the day

I have tried some of these protein flapjacks in the chocolate chunk and plain version, both are very nice, these have a moist crumbly texture to them like real butter based flapjacks, yet these are much lower in fats compared to them and offer around 20 grams of protein each. Overall the chocolate chunk version is the nicest and makes for a great protein based snack which can be used when lean bulking to add in additional clean calories.
