As I am always on the move, it's helpful to carry protein bars with me. I'm a fan of oats, too, so thought this would be a good choice. Sadly, it tastes awful! I had to look at the label to see what the flavour was supposed to be (Salted Caramel, which seems to be the flavour of the month as everything is salted caramel flavoured now). It tasted neither of salted caramel nor oats, nor indeed, of any food product I have ever eaten. As I had nothing else with me, I had to eat the whole thing. I do not recommend this product unless you have no sense of taste. Goes Well With: Nothing.

This bar is tough. It's a brick in terms of its weight (88g) and its density when you take a bite. The flavour is chocolate but a very mild chocolate. It's the sheer solidity of the thing that leaves a lasting impression. That said, if you're looking for something that's chocolate-like and satiating at the same time, which is a rare combination, then this will do the job... if you want to spare 39g carbs of your macros that day. Goes Well With: Water... lots of it.

tried one of each of these oats and whey bars and didnt finish any. all are hard and tasteless. during the battle of stalingrad mainy people were starving and boiled their boots and ate them for a bit protein and i imagine these bars were still sitting untouched Goes Well With: black bags
