Very good stuff. Tastes like a quite mature cheddar. Ideal for grating in to salads, meals and even nibbling on it's own or with some crackers. Very pleased with the fact that I can get a nice tasting cheese that can be used for a variety of meals and snacks that comes in with the nutritional content this one does but also only costs little more than a tenner per kilo when at full price. Goes Well With: Grated on salads, chilli, chicken dishes.

Great macros but it's not exactly the same as cheese - does not melt as nicely and is very crumbly. But would definitely buy again, great substitute

Cannot fault this protein cheese, exactly what it says on the packet and perfect way to fit cheese into your diet without all the fat and sugar content! Tastes pretty much spot on..will definitely be keeping a block in the fridge always for those cravings! Goes Well With: Anything!

Excellent product vegetarian tasty and low fat high protein perfect combination

I've been trying to cut out unhealthy food from my diet lately. So far I've successfully replaced most of the junk food with a healthier alternative, except for ice-cream and cheese. When I saw that MyProtein.com had introduced a line of high-protein cheese, I thought my prayers had been answered. However, the actual product itself leaves something to be desired. The taste itself is quite tart - more so than the typical mature cheddar. I find that I cannot use it to replace the cheese in a sandwich, or on crackers, etc. The texture itself is a bit weird as well - a bit plasticky, and it seems to find moisture to absorb from the driest of environments. However, there is one thing preventing it from getting a 1-star review. It works quite well as a parmesan/ parmigiano reggiano substitute (as I discovered yesterday). Grated on top of pasta/polenta, it works quite well, taste-wise. But it really wasn't what I was hoping for, when I ordered it. I don't eat pasta very often, and suspect the cheese block will be a soggy mess by the time I use it again. Goes Well With: Pasta, Honey
