Worth a try

I'm glad that someone has thought of making the protein shake taste like baileys. Shame that it's only limited for Xmas period. I don't use it as meal replacement, as still feel hungry after drinking it. Not sure about how well it works on the long run as I have it just short time but it's definitely worth a try

During the Christmas period, the vast majority of my non-lifting family are indulging in festive treats. In the past, I've never been too bothered about missing out of treats but sometimes during the festive season I do feel slightly left out at times. I crave a Christmas flavour. The festive flavours are a fantastic way to add some Christmas into your diet, and recreate the nostalgia associated with festive food. I purchased the Irish Cream flavour. You can smell the powder upon opening the pouch, overcome by jovial memories of past Christmases. It mixes incredibly well, as the powder is much finer than that of standard impact whey. Works well with a vortex mixer a mixing ball or even a standard grated shaker. It tastes wonderful, not over powering at all. Goes well with water and becomes amazing when mixed with any kind of milk. Goes Well With: I mixed the whey into a sludge, to the consistency of a custard or a cream and poured it over a warmed mince pie. Which makes the macros slightly more favourable - if it fits your macros.

Hands down, this is the best protein I've purchased. I opened the package and took one whiff and text my pal to get some, it smelt amazing. Most protein flavours do so it had to come down to the mix-ability and taste, this didn't disappoint. You know how some you shake for minutes and it has loads of lumps in the bottom and sides? This didn't, 30 seconds shaking and it was mixed then went down a treat. No gritty texture that you get with loads and nice after taste. I will be trying other flavours now and can image it to give the same taste and mix. Guarantee I will not go anywhere else...plus the price is excellent value. Taste disappointment

As always, My Protein Impact Whey helps me meet my protein requirements. I had been waiting for the launch of the Christmas flavours with eager anticipation, because I love all things festive... However the 'Marzipan Christmas Cake' flavour tastes neither of marzipan nor Christmas cake. It's not unpleasant, but it is strangely synthetic. Can't help but think that adding almond flavouring to the Rum and Raisin would have been closer to the desired taste? Furthermore, the Christmas flavours are not vegetarian-friendly (unlike the rest). This caused great upset to a vegetarian buddy who consumed a fair quantity before he realised! Goes Well With: Low fat yoghurt and dried fruits :)

For me this works really well, my workouts are more productive & I feel better. Tastes more like a fruity berry than Christmas Cake.
