Amino Acids are complex chemicals that are the building blocks of protein. An Essential Amino Acid cannot be synthesised or created by the body and therefore must be supplied from the diet.
The main essential amino acids required by the body are Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Lysine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Histidine, Methionine, and Tryptophan. This has 5000mg of Leucine per 15g serving which is higher than the standard whey protein and has zero fat and carbohydrates.
Essential Amino Acids are recommended for anyone looking to increase their daily intake of amino acids.
Please note that the labelling on this product is provided in English as a minimum. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Finnish may also be present on a product by product basis.
Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 15g, shake and consume immediately. Use twice daily - one serving before and after your workout.
Note: We advise that all servings are measured using an accurate set of scales. While we make every attempt to provide an accurate equivalent measure using our Myprotein scoops, these are only approximate and are not a substitute for using a standardised measuring device.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. This product is a food supplement and therefore should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool dry place, out of the reach of young children.

My protein supplements are like a dream come true.Vegetarian sources of proteins include legumes, nuts, seeds and fruits. Legumes, some of which are called pulses in certain parts of the world, have higher concentrations of amino acids and are more complete sources of protein than whole grains and cereals. Examples of vegetarian foods with protein concentrations greater than seven percent include soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, white beans, mung beans, chickpeas, cowpeas, lima beans, pigeon peas, lupines, wing beans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, cotton seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. Amino also plays an important role in building muscLes.My protein supplements which include amino acids are essential nutrient to build muscles. They are of two types essential and non essential.Non-essential aminos are those that can be synthesized by the body, even if we don’t get them in our diet. Non-essential amino acids include: alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid. For bodybuilders and athlete, higher amount of certain amino acids may be needed. Non-essential aminos are those that can be synthesized by the body, even if we don’t get them in our diet. Non-essential amino acids include: alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid. For bodybuilders and athlete, higher amount of certain amino acids may be needed. Amino acid profiles of protein can vary significantly and depend on the source and quality of the protein. Absorption and digestions rates, micronutrient content, ability to support growth, repair and maintenance of tissues, and more—all contribute to protein quality and can differ greatly from one source to another. Simply stated, not all proteins are created equal. The same is true when it comes to the manufacturing of protein powders.
Hi, So ordered the product as a boost to my fitness regime. First impression not great, unsure whether the product was sent out with a tear to packaging or caused by courier cramming it through my letterbox. Product has a very bad taste to it so highly recommend mixing with a strong flavoured cordial. Mixes ok with a protein shaker bottle although does leave a foam on top. Definitely has an effect and does give a boost to workout. This I have noticed in a short timeframe which is pleasing, not a fitness expert but do feel like it is a good addition.Goes Well With:Flavoured mixer, don't recommend just water or milk
Myprotein is a market leader for its quality and value for money. I have never had anything like this before.Myprotein supplements are good after a workout is one of the best time to get protein into the body so that the protein can be delivered to your muscles, to begin healing the micro tears i.e very small tears in the muscle tissue, caused by intense contraction of the muscle during workout in the muscle.Because solid food takes more time to digest and to break down the protein and send it to the muscles, it can be best to take a protein shake immediately following a workout, since protein shakes only take about thirty minutes to reach the muscle after ingestion.we can see the advantage to taking a protein.Whey protein has become a favorite supplement for those seeking to put on muscle and enhance their physiques as well as improve their health. In order to decipher which protein is best for a particular need, typically one would use a specific gauge of some sort to determine which protein to use. and hey dont forget to use my referral code for genuine discounts. Dont be fooled by fake users copying fake images of stamps at the end of their reviews and claiming to be authorised reviewers. there is no such thing as authorised reviewers. they have just copied and posted the same reviews again and again and again, desperateiy wanting to earn referral credits. I hope it helps. Thank you :)
My protein supplements from which whey, isolate and hydolysate are the best. There are also variations on whey protein based upon different manufacturing processes which are applied to the whey. These are labelled as Isolate (where water is removed along with all lactose and cholesterol leading to a 95% protein concentration) and Hydrolysate (where the whey is partially pre-digested with enzymes to reduce the size of the peptide molecules and to accelerate absorption and amino acid availability). Whey protein hydrolysate is commonly suggested to be the optimal form of whey protein.
Easy to use and effective.Goes Well With:Fast carbs during training.
Tastes bitter - REAL BITTER. mix it with something that over powers the taste. HOWEVER. mixes pretty well - i have been putting a 15g serving into a standard liter water bottle and shaking. it mixes and then leaves a foam / scum on top, which slowly dissolved in over 15 minutes.... which is fine for me as this covers my commute to work, so when i get to work, its mixed with no bits / lumps. seems to work as a appetite suppressant too. i can have one of these instead of a morning meal ... good for those trying to work on a calorie deficitGoes Well With:Sweet Fruit Juice // strong flavoured Preworkout
Why does it smell and taste soo badddddGoes Well With:I don't know
barely drinkable for awful taste and smell
The unflavoured one was a horrible taste! Made any drink or shake I put it in taste terrible as well Won't be able to finish the pack will have to buy another one that has a taste to it Goes Well With:Absolutely nothing in this world
Spent extra to buy this product after online research and opened today, mixed in with regular post workout shake and I almost spat it out! This tastes so bad I will be chucking the whole bag away. Can't believe they sell this especially when the rest of the products on myprotein are so good. Goes Well With:Can't think of a single thing that will make this better
Tried it with water, with juice, with my shake and it is just disgusting..waste of money for me, very disappointed.
Just buy the pills. It tastes terrible and will ruin anything you put it in. Buy the pill version and swallow them down.
Awful smell and it makes you wretch. Even when mixed with juice the taste is awful. I regret buying it as I'm more than likely going to bin it.
I am a big fan of MyProtein products but this one truly disappointed. Only unflavoured available so bought it anyway and ignored negative feedbacks because I am quite good with tolerating weird tastes. Upon opening the packet I had a woof of what smelled like chemical. It is really strong, although unflavoured, it is not neutral tasting and does not take on flavour from juices. I only mixed mine with a teaspoon and came up with a horrible frothy product. I've only had a serving so far so cannot comment on the effectiveness. Not sure how I will take the rest of the product because I literally dreaded every next gulp. Very bitter and left a really strong after taste and grainy bits at the bottom 😷 i wish someone would come up with a great idea of how to take this product easier!Goes Well With:Faith and courage
I have a strong stomach and can put up with most horrible tastes in the name of gains, but this product is unbearable, smells like cat food and urine, tastes even worse, tried mixing with various flavoured liquids but nothing masked it, do yourself a favour and get the tablets. Very poor mixability as well, so it's even harder to get it down the hatch as it bubbles up and becomes foamy. GET THE TABLETSGoes Well With:With? Nothing. Without? Tastebuds
As far as the product goes for what it says on the tin (packet) it does exactly as it should and I am overly impressed with the aminos. However it mixes just as well as oil does with water, leaving a thick foam on top of your mix. I purchased the unflavoured, in short purchase a flavour because it's like adding a rusty piece of lead to your mix.Goes Well With:Creatine
Tastes awful, not a plain taste like most unflavoured things. Highly recommend getting your amino acid elsewhere as I am big fan of the rest of my protein suplements Goes Well With:Nothing
Ache Less, I will keep buying it!
