Myprotein supplements are good after a workout is one of the best time to get protein into the body so that the protein can be delivered to your muscles, to begin healing the micro tears i.e very small tears in the muscle tissue, caused by intense contraction of the muscle during workout in the muscle.Because solid food takes more time to digest and to break down the protein and send it to the muscles, it can be best to take a protein shake immediately following a workout, since protein shakes only take about thirty minutes to reach the muscle after ingestion.we can see the advantage to taking a protein.Whey protein has become a favorite supplement for those seeking to put on muscle and enhance their physiques as well as improve their health. MyProtein supplements are good for our overall health. Daily intake of protein help in reducing fat from our body. Today we will discuss about benefits of protein in our body.Protein is in the spotlight these days, with articles touting diets high in protein and advertisements for protein powders in the media. Protein is, of course, an important building block in the body, but it is not the only building block. And furthermore, protein is made up of a variety of substances, with the result that not all protein sources are equal in value. Here are some of the facts about proteins Protein is essential to a healthy heart and a healthy body; animal sources of protein including eggs are better for you nutritionally since they contain all of the essential amino acids; as with most nutrients and vitamins, both too much and too little protein have detrimental effects on the body; and, protein cannot be stocked up like fat but must be eaten daily. Protein is the basic nutrient and plays an essential role in carrying cholesterol and preventing heart disease. The human body in its complexity needs dozens of nutritive substances. The one that stands before all others is protein, or proteins, since there is not one but hundreds of kinds of protein. Here’s what protein contributes We are literally made of protein from our bones to our muscles, arteries and veins, skin, hair, and fingernails. Our heart, brain, liver, kidneys, and lungs are built of tissue made of proteins.Proteins help carry the oxygen that reddens our blood. In the form of enzymes, proteins digest our food, synthesize essential substances, and break down waste products for elimination. When fat and carbohydrates are insufficient, proteins produce the energy we need for life.Proteins in combination with a substance called sterols form hormones, which regulate the delicate chemical changes that constantly take place within the body. The chromosomes, which pass on our characteristics to our children, include protein in their structure.Protein is needed to carry fat and cholesterol throughout the body.
Really amazed me with the results. Tried it for the first time and really transform my body. I'm a 20 years girl who will represent ifbb next year and I know my protein supplements will help me.Whey protein is produced during the process that sees milk turned into cheese. It is also found naturally in dairy products, eggs, soy and vegetable proteins but none of these compares in quality to whey protein powder. It also scores highly in providing the branched chain amino acids that are important in the building and retention of muscle.Whey protein is highly favored by bodybuilders because it provides the necessary building blocks to produce the amino acids that the body uses to build lean muscle tissue. Many studies have shown that whey protein contains the perfect combination of amino acids, in just the right concentration for optimal performance in the body. It is also thought that whey protein has a role as an anti-oxidant and immune system builder. It is best taken in powder form mixed in juice or milk, spread throughout the day to maintain a positive nitrogen balance. Serious bodybuilders often consume up to one hundred fifty grams each day but as a rule of thumb, daily protein intake for active trainers can be calculated by taking your weight in pounds and multiplying by one or two. But remember, you need to work out how much protein is taken from food and other sources, and then spread the remaining whey protein balance over the day.Whey protein is a relatively safe supplement but no more than thirty grams of protein should be taken at one sitting as excessive single doses could overload the liver. The safety of whey protein has been well documented in many scientific studies and there is clear proof that taken consistently, coupled with regular exercise, it will result in meaningful muscle gain. Back early on when I started my training a friend who played for a top flight rugby team suggested that I should use Ribomatrix, which was made by Matrix, this turned out to be a fantastic blend and I could compress workouts into a shorter time or work harder for longer. Unfortunately Matrix stopped making the product (a patent issue in the UK) and since then I have had to make my own by buying a stack - which was a pain and resulted in a fair bit of waste. I stumbled on creastorm and it is, give or take a few ingredients a fair parallel to Ribomatrix. I've been taking it for about a month now, and my results in the gym are improving consistently, and I'm posting gains weekly. I'm also getting improved vascularisation and my recovery time is shortened wth DOMS seemingly reduced. The only criticism I could level is that it doesn't mix perfectly (then again, creative never does) and that I would like a different choice of flavour - but tropical is ok. An excellent product and I'm definitely getting more once I'm low on my current stock.Goes Well With:Any protein post-workout
Add this to all sorts of smoothies and it is great. Its got quite a strong taste. It can be bitty but i hardly even notice. I am used to drinking thick smoothies of penut butter, oat powders and stuff. It really isnt as bad as some people say?! I really dont know why people say its a pre work out too? It has 13g of dextrose which is the only thing which could be a pre work out surely? Anyway the results. Great results! Hit new PB's in a couple of weeks and i really feel its allowing me to push harder than ever before. Had it for about a month now and gone from 80kg max to 90kg x 6 reps Would highly reccomend to anyone
This is a good quality creatine. Unlike alot of so called new creatine potions it does what is says. Tried and tested
Need a few more weeks before I can give this a five star...but the results have started to show. Over the past 24 months I've tried all sorts to help me push harder at the gym. I also struggle to gain weight as I'm tall and seem to have a high metabolism. Since I have taken this I seem to focus much better, last longer and it seems to help with the weight gain. Like I say it's only two weeks in and early days but the signs are good. P.s had no loading stage.
Bought two bags of Creastorm a week ago and been using it before my workout just as it states in the description. However, I skipped the loading phase because it is not necessary since I was using creatine already. The taste of the product is great, tastes like an Isotonic drink. Mixability is ok as well, you have grains of creatine on the bottom of the shaker but that's always like this no matter what creatine you would use. The Creastorm does not have any positive effect for me except for the bigger pumps at the moment, though I feel quite a lot more exhausted and can't push my reps as I did before. It might have been due to reduced creatine intake since I only noticed two days ago that there were grains of creatine left in the bottom of the shaker, so it could have been that the "heavier" creatine grains went to the bottom of the package. I gave it a shake to even it out and we will see how it goes from here. All in all, the product has a great ingredient formula, so I am hopping for great results. Goes Well With:Water
Taste quite good, mixes quite well (especially for a product like this) and it helps you get your creatine. My only problem with it is that the preworkout part of this is having little to no affect on me. Would but the creapure next time.Goes Well With:Water
I have bought this same product twice. Once in 2012 I took 2 whole scoops by accident and became extremely vascular in 10 minutes but became very bloated too. This year (2014) I made basically the same mistake, taking 1 whole scoop rather than half. This product is excellent as a POST-WORKOUT product. Don't take it Pre-workout it will make you feel tired very quickly due to the taurine and high dextrose and high magnesium content. Taste-wise, it is excellent (tropical flavour), very sweet, a bit like sherbet. Just add more water to resolve this. 500ml with half a scoop would work fine I imagine. Mixability/texture, perfect. Does not clump AT ALL, does not give too much of a gritty creatine texture either. Overall, I rate this product highly due to its post-workout calming abilities as well as glycogen recovery. Goes Well With:IBCAA's
Doesnt mix very well but does aste alright. Been taking it for about two weeks and havnt really noticed any difference in strength.
If you have used creatine in the past I'm sure you have come across the normal sandy/gritty versions that just refuse to mix and end up drinking what taste like a glass of squash filled with sand!! Creastorm mixes within a few shakes of the shaker and taste great - the tropical flavour taste like the old sherbert dib-daps from my childhood days! Taste asite the important bit is that it gives a great boost if taken before a gym session. I decided to start a new program a month back and bought Creastorm, Impact Whey Protein, CLA and BCAA 1500 and use each one daily and the results are really starting to pay off.Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein CLA BCAA 1500
Some things work for me and some things dont!. Or could it be that some things work and some things just don't actually work at all!!. Several years ago creatine worked wonders for me and unfortunately the brand i started with just stopped working for me when the manufacturer altered its design! Since then I have tried many different types of creatine and also many brands and fortunately some work but since I have become a customer of MP I thought I would give it a try and im happy to say that my results are through the roof! My tshirts are tighter and my arms feel a lot fuller. Im also taking whey and bcaa's plus!! Very happy with MP Goes Well With:Bcaa plus and whey protein
This definitely gives me extra energy for the gym I always have energy at the end of my workout and the gym closes, now you go 90 minutes earlier than I used to go and can comfortably work for 2 hours. I normally make a 600ml of water with one scoop and drink half before i head off to the gym and drink throughout my workout normally consuming it within 30 minutes of arriving in the gym. I use in conjunction with thermopure and have whey protein afterwards to repair the muscle tissue. However I would advise to take caution when storing as clumps appear inside the packaging (very small) and when mixing your shaker it will precipitate to the bottom and you'll have some powder left just make sure to mix it for about 60 seconds when you make the shake, hence why I gave 4 stars. It tastes very good and I would actually use it as cordial if I could! P.S best to test your tolerance first time as the increase in caffeine will keep you awake if you take too much too soon. I just take one scoop.Goes Well With:Thermopure (makes me sweat buckets)
I found this Creastorm ideal for a pre-workout. It gave me the energy and strength to power through any type of workout.
I always have trouble focusing on my sets. I've only been trying Creastorm for a couple of weeks now but the focus seems to get better. I had to get used to the quite chemical taste but it's the results that count! Will keep you posted on the other results.
After the first week I started to feel the results of taking Creastorm. I've used creatine before and had mixed feelings about it. Once I'd got passed the loading stage I could really feel myself excelling in workouts. I felt I had more energy and could continually work at a higher intensity for longer. It's helped keep me alert and feeling strong to get those extra reps. Definitely worth a try if you want to see improvements in your workouts.
I've used a few creatine products, starting with ethyl ester tablets then Creapure, and now I've moved onto the advanced supplement Creastorm. I've just finished my 2nd week after the loading week and I'm noticing areas where I struggled are starting to become easier, and I've gained an inch on my chest and arms. It's a very good purchase and I would definitely use again.
Creastorm is a fantastic product. I would like other flavours though.Goes Well With:water
Creastorm has really helped give me a boost for my workouts and I can really feel the difference since taking this product. I would definitely recommend it!Goes Well With:Flavour Drops
