These are one of the best protein bars for flavour - love the caramel and nut and also dark chocolate and sea salt.  Really helps give you a sweet treat without all the nasty sugars.  Goes Well With: Cup of tea or coffee

Contrary to what the picture and name made me expect, these bars are dense and chewy, not crunchy. ————— Flavor: dark chocolate and sea salt — 5/5 It has a rich, intense, very sweet taste; I could believe having bought it in a dedicated chocolate shop. Eat it in little bites, with some bitter tea. Note: My sister says it has an unpleasant metallic tang, but that it efficiently cuts her hunger. ————— Flavor: strawberry cheesecake — 2/5 I didn’t care for the taste of strawberry cheesecake with chocolate. Bought these after reading all the good reviews and I’m gutted! They’re average at best and leave a weird aftertaste in my mouth. Got that “protein” taste (normally reserved for unflavoured protein powder) which isn’t great. The texture is like a thin, chewy Maxi Muscle bar topped with the top crunch layer of a Grenade. Grenade however, have really nice flavours and a much better all round texture. For value, taste and texture, the Sci-Mx caramel crunch from B&M are worlds better than these!  Goes Well With: Not much...

So far I've tried caramel nut, dark chocolate sea salt, and the chocolate brownie. Ranking: 1. Dark chocolate sea salt 2. Caramel nut 3. Fudge brownie Unfortunately the chocolate brownie one just doesn't taste good. The macros are amazing (217 kcal, 21 p, 12g fibre), but it just doesn't make up for the taste. To me, it doesn't even taste chocolatey! It tastes weirdly of some protein "chickpea brownies" that I tried, which tasted of dust and protein after taste. I'm really not a fan of this one, the best thing about it is the chocolate coating. I'm a massive mp fan, but I'd definitely go for a carb killa brownie over this one, despite the price difference, and the lack of fibre in the carb killas. Dark chocolate sea salt is a much better option for chocolate lovers like myself, it just tastes of a chocolate bar, it's absolutely brilliant. Caramel nut is very sweet, doesn't taste very nutty, I'd say it's more like a fudge than a caramel bar.

I don’t normally enjoy protein bars, nor do I have a sweet tooth, but this is something else! Gorgeous taste and texture. Really enjoying them. 10/10
