initially had a bit of trouble getting it to dissolve properly. i eventually settled on hot water from a just boiled kettle and some robinsons lemon squash, the cordial stuff dissolves right easy with a bit of a stir and it's working as it should. I previously was mixing the water with the juice of a lemon but that tasted a bit ick, wasn't great for my teeth and (whatever else is in the lemon squash) didn't dissolve nearly as well. i can't really compare it to many other magnesium supplements but this works so well for me I don't see myself trying any others anyway. it really is fantastic stuff, I feel so much better for having tried it. Mixability is really truly poor and this particular magnesium citrate powder doesn't have that characteristic acidic/lemon taste to it like all the other magnesium citrate powders I have used. I use magnesium citrate as an osmotic laxative and where I only had to use one tablespoon with other brands, I don't even get the same results with two tablespoons with this magnesium citrate powder. CONCLUSION: I think this is a extremely low quality product that does absolutely nothing
