Weird Sizing

First of all this bra is exactly the same as the 'Women's Training Sports Bra' which I have already reviewed..
For reference I bought a size L and my measurements are underband 82cm, 98cm chest.
The underband is fine, I wouldn't want it any tighter for a relaxed fit. However the material feels loose and the straps are also too loose. I picked this up, along with the bra, in the sale which means it's not worth returning so I decided to alter the straps by taking them in by 2 inches. This has resulted in a better fit even though the material still feels loose.
