Feel like your morning routine is letting you down? For many of us, a bad morning routine can throw off and not knowing how to fuel your day can set you even more off kilter.

Luckily, Team Myprotein have got some fool-proof morning routines that you can combine to set you up for the perfect day. From their favourite breakfasts to their morning workouts, here’s how to build the ultimate routine with our ambassadors.

Coffee in bed? This guy’s got his morning down to a tee. That caffeine pump is exactly what he needs to get out of bed and start shovelling down some breakfast ahead of his workout.

Like many of us, Matt struggles to eat a lot first thing in the morning, so enjoys a refreshing Clear Whey Shake to boost his protein alongside a big bowl of cereal. To make sure he’s hitting those all-important micronutrients, he follows this down with an Omega-3 capsulea multivitamin (Alpha Male), and Glucosamine Chondroitin to support healthy joints and cartilage.

After fuelling up on carbs and protein, he’s ready to hit the gym hard and get the most out of his training.

Brothers who train together...

These boys do everything together and we can see why. Having someone to drag you out of bed, make you a shake, and push you through your training isn’t a bad idea either.

You’re way more likely to get up for that morning session if you know your mate’s waiting for you. So, whether it’s your brother, partner, or a gym buddy, keep each other accountable and get through those tough morning workouts together, Stoltman style.

Mike Thurston's omelette of champions

If a bowl of cereal just isn’t cutting it, then Mike swears by this breakfast recipe. He loves it so much that he makes it every morning. This omelette is filled to the brim with proteins, fats, and there’s even some greens thrown in for good measure.

Eggs are a great option to keep you going through your busy morning and you can’t go wrong with a bit of bacon and spinach.

Serve it up with BBQ flavour Sugar-Free Sauce and you’re on to a winner.

Scott Britton's simple breakfast staple

If you like to plough through those morning to-do's like Scott, then an elaborate breakfast is probably way down on the priority list. Instead of slaving away over pancakes, or spending his evenings prepping overnight oats, Scott saves time and effort with an Oat Bake.

With 34g of carbs and 18g of protein, this breakfast bar will power you up and keep you going through your morning workout while keeping your breakfast nutrition simple and stress-free.

Cat Meffan's yoga flow

Some of us are slow to get going first thing — smashing off a HIIT workout at 5am isn’t for everyone. Instead of blundering through a workout half asle

ep, why not work on your stretching and flexibility with a gentle morning yoga session?

Cat likes to use her mornings to tune into her body and stretch out the sleepy stiffness, so she can start her day with purpose, knowing that her body has what it needs.

Take home message

Whether it’s finding time for the perfect breakfast, reaching your peak with a top-notch supplement routine, or finding a way to move that wakes you up and invigorates you, your morning routine can shape your day, so get it right!
