Vimto® Protein Yoghurt Toast | Viral TikTok Recipe

For a snack or sweet breakfast. Either way, it’s delicious.

Yoghurt custard toast has been all the rage on TikTok recently. We were puzzled at first too, but as with most things, don’t knock it until you try it. It beats plain old egg on toast hands down.

Vimto® Clear Whey is back by popular demand, and to celebrate we’ve come up with this twist on the viral recipe. And it’s back in a new flavour — Orange, Strawberry and Lime. If you could taste summer, this is what it would taste like.

Servings:  Serves 1

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, yoghurt, Vimto Clear Whey, and FlavDrops and combine until a smith custard texture.

  3. Place two pieces of bread on to an oven-proof tray. Using your fingers or the back of a spoon, press into the centre of the bread to make an indent.

  4. Spoon the custard mixture into the indented part of the bread and add the berries.

  5. Bake for around 20 minutes until golden brown.

  6. Drizzle over the Maple Sugar-Free Syrup and enjoy.
