High-Protein Fakeaway Nuggets

Fancy a takeaway this weekend but unsure if it’ll fit into your macros? Why not try @_kikifit_’s newest fakeaway recipe instead? Boasting 32g of protein, it’s the perfect Friday treat.

Have them as a movie night snack or add some BBQ sauce and homemade chips for a takeaway-worthy tea.

This recipe makes 16 nuggets (nutritional information is based on 4).


  • 400g turkey or chicken mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion seasoning
  • 50g Instant Oats
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add the mince, egg and seasoning into a bowl and mix well.

  2. Separate the mixture into 16 sections and then roll them into a ball. Try and make them all the same size so they cook evenly.

  3. Cover the nuggets in the blended oats, paprika, salt and pepper.

  4. Air fry for 25 mins at 180 degrees.
