Snack-Size Peanut Date Bars

This recipe’s a healthy twist on a Celebrations classic. Don’t worry — it’s not Bounty.

@healthy_floflo is back to spruce up snack time with a Snickers alternative that requires only four ingredients. It’s super simple, almost as simple as unwrapping a bar and diving straight in. OK, it’s going to require a bit more work than that, but the macros are so worth it, so your effort won’t be in vain.

8 servings

  1. Cut the dates in half and remove the stone.

  2. Add peanut butter to the dates, close and add some chopped peanuts.

  3. Melt the chocolate and cover the dates.

  4. Leave in the fridge for 30 mins or in the freezer for a few minutes.

  5. Then sprinkle extra peanuts over the top.
