Our Nutritionist Richie Kirwan has reviewed the diet of our ambassador Gabriel Sey. Gabriel isn’t a competitive bodybuilder. although he looks like he could be one, so we were keen to hear his supplement routine.

Since Gabriel isn’t a nutritionist, Richie dives straight into the analysis of his supplements.

*spoiler* Gabriel did pretty well.

Here’s a rundown of some of the supplements Gabriel mentioned. Watch Richie’s video to get all the details on each supplement.

Vitamin D

Since it seems be raining every time you look out the window in the UK, you might want to listen closely to this one.

According to Richie, Vitamin D helps calcium be absorbed into your bones. This is especially important as you get older to prevent weakening bones.

Omega-3s

Omega-3s are all the rage with nutritionists. And rightly so. Richie encourages all his clients to get all the vitamins and minerals they need from their diet. However, he explains that Omega-3s are the one supplement he tells most of his clients to take. If that isn’t a big claim to fame for Omega-3s, then we don’t know what is.

Protein

Ah, how could we speak to a bodybuilder and not eventually get on to the topic of protein? It's simple. We couldn’t. Protein is vital for building muscle. Gabriel likes to add a form of protein to his breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day after all. And, on average, the meal with the least protein content. *GASP*

Protein Snacks

They then got onto our favourite topic...

Snack time.

Gabriel has got into a great habit. Rather than indulging in a huge slice of chocolate cake every time he wants a snack, he opts for a protein bar or cookie. That way he can help meet his daily protein requirements whilst satisfying his sweet tooth. Convenient, in-line with his macros and tasty. Win, win, win.

Take Home Message

However, they aren’t all of the supplements that Gabriel takes – so you’ll have to watch the video for the full run down.

It’s also worth remembering that an individual should take the right supplements for themselves rather than copy what somebody else takes. If you want to venture into the world of supplements, but aren’t sure how to take the leap, it may be worth speaking to a professional.
