I've tried several different brands of whey protein, ranging from other reputable brands through to not so reputable. But this is by far the best for effective recovery. The taste and mix-ability could be improved, however, these are only minor faults. I previously mixed with water, but since moving to this I now use skimmed milk, which improves the taste tenfold, while also increasing the calorie and protein intake. I've found that I can train a lot harder and don't feel so tired when approaching my next training session. I currently train using a 4 day upper/lower split, with sprint training and steady state CV work on 2 out of the 3 rest days. So effective recovery is key. The added benefit of this protein is that you know there are no added chemicals. And if your job includes random drug testing, then this protein is ideal. Out of 10 I would give it 9/10, simply because I've had better tasting proteins when mixed with water, and it occasionally clumps (which can be overcome by simply shaking harder). I'd definitely recommend to those who take recovery and their nutrient intake as seriously as their training. Goes Well With: Protein Shaker with mixer ball. Skimmed Milk.

New to supplements after a 10 year break, this is so much better than used to be available. Tasty and mixes easily (vanilla). I take this to aid recovery from lots of running and circuit type training, and it really works. Where i used to have to take a couple of days off after really hitting it i now have the option of training again the next day. The extra protein allows my body to recover really fast. Epic. I have it in the morning then after training then before bed. Have it about an hour before sleeping though as it can keep you awake if taken just before bed. Goes Well With: Milk.. and muesli for breakfast.

If your an athlete is who is tested, this is by far the cheapest batch tested protein on the market. Tastes good and mixes very well. Not sure how good the protein is, believe they are all pretty similar out there but always handy to have after training. Goes Well With: A good diet!!!
