Bought the "Mediterranean tomato" flavour soup. Absolutely gopping. Didn't mix well, tasted grainy and the flavour was bad. Waste of money, straight in the bin.Goes Well With:Chundering it down the toilet
I quite enjoy these. Tried all of them as soups and then as someone suggested - as less liquid sauces on buckwheat for example. I find these soups satisfactory. Not mind blowingly tasty, but they at fine.Goes Well With:Less water
Soup is tasty and easy to make, nice to have a quick snack!
Honestly you can taste the powder, it tastes vile it's just horrible horrible horrible. Couldn't even finish one bowl, made me gag.
Chicken - The taste isn't good and the texture is even worse. You think it's mixed it but you can feel the powder against your throat. It's so dry! Put it like this, my dog wouldn't even finish it and trust me, that's saying something.Goes Well With:A bin
Delicious isn't the word I'd use to describe these soups I've tried the chicken and tomato versions. Neither soups don't mix well and both have little taste. I've tasted much better whey-based soups from other suppliers. These are not enjoyable and I wont be buying them again. I don't expect them to be more enjoyable than real soup but these aren't even palatable. Goes Well With:added salt, pepper and lots of spice to give it some flavour
Bought the tomato flavour and it's not bad. Tastes a bit like pasta-bake sauce (note to self- try it with protein pasta next time). It took a lot of mixing- had to change arms halfway through. Creamier than I thought it would be and quiet potato-starchy, which isn't a bad thing. What is a bad thing, however, is the amount of salt! 4g per serving- I had it half an hour ago and I still feel slightly desiccated. I've had to re-adjust my evening meal plans to take into account my salt-overdose. Overall, not bad, just take care if you're trying to cut down on salt.Goes Well With:Protein Flat Bread
I like these. Taste or mixability wise, they're not worse than any other instant mug soups out there -- that being said, we're not exactly spoilt on that front. Still, the macros make up for this, and as long as these, per sachet, cost just a hair more than regular, maltodextrin and starch-bulked regular stuff, I'd totally choose these. And anyways, you can always upgrade them with a bit of tomato paste, noodles, egg yolk, croutons, bouillon cube, spring onions, vegs... whatever floats.
Thai flavour- This stuff is pretty alright tasting. Quite spicy but I like it To make - Need to add 1/3 boiling water then slowly add contents whilst stirring. Then add another third etc. Gets rid of lumps perfectly. 4 star because it's got quite a lot of sugar in?
I am just in love with this protein soups, I do not use it as soups but i make sauces with it (sort of thick soup with just 10cl of water)! For example the beef soupe is a perfect pepper sauce to accompany meats (just add water & pepper), pasta or rice and the chicken soup is a perfect bechamel sauce that I can insert in a gratin or just to accompany meats as well! I eat this soups everyday! Goes Well With:Konjac Pasta, pasta, rice, meat, chicken...
I haven't purchased in a while I'm confused by the negative reviews so have to put mine on! I love them. Chicken n beef my favourite. It your used to cup a soup flavour it's quite a change. They are hard to mix. Try using a smaller amount of water to get mixed well to thick sauce- then gradually add the rest to the mug and no problem. If your not sure on flavour try getting sample packs first. Goes Well With:Pitta bread or toast
This is one of the worst products I have ever tasted ! It may have good grams of protein but it has to be drinkable ,I don't know who tested this product and said it was good enough sell but I think you need to make more of an effort to actually make it taste of what your advertising Goes Well With:Nothing
I bought the chicken soup, tried one sachet and will never be eating/drinking it again. It doesn't even taste like chicken. Very disappointed. Goes Well With:A refund for sending it back.
Was really excited to get these as they were on offer, although reviews were mixed. I must admit I was really grossed out, these really made me gag, I tried sticking with them but I could t stand the taste or texture. Nothing like soup or cuppa soup. So waste of money for me personally :( Goes Well With:Water
I use this product for my lunch at work. Whilst it's not the easiest to mix, and I usually end up with some lumps left, the taste is good. It's also really filling considering its less than 200 calories. Overall, this is a tasty, quick to make product. Goes Well With:Boiling water
Bought the 4 flavors to assist me meet my daily protein intake post VSG...I started with the beef flavor. It tastes like aerosol and does not go down easy. Half way through the cup ( took me about 30 minutes cause the taste was terrible), I ended up regurgitating. Goes Well With:Trash bin liners
Wasn't too happy with this. I took the plunge and bought a full 20 pack of the Med tomato as shakes, chicken and beef and veggies were getting boring so it's a nice change for snack time. Macros are great, taste is very bland, mixes poorly (lumps floating etc) but can deal with this as I've had much worse elsewhere but I'm paying to drink cardboard, seems quite frothy for a soup IMO. For me not worth the money unless they're on a decent offer which mine were at the time. Only myprotein product I've had an issue with though. Next time I'll buy sample of the other flavours beforehand.Goes Well With:Maybe an OXO or some added garlic and pepper!
Great soup. Taste is really good, the among is great as well, it just take a little time to get everything stirred well. So you don´t have any pulver left.
After reading the reviews I was pretty wary about this product. I had purchased the mediterranean tomato flavour. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste! If you mix this in a jug with a fork it mixes well, never had any problems with lumps/bits in the soup as some comments have mentioned. Excellent lunchtime snack!Goes Well With:a dash of tabsco or spices to give it a kick!
In spite of using a whisk and following instructions it was very difficult to get a smooth texture and we were very disappointed with the taste. I've decided to mix in a tomato cuppa soup to make it more palatable.Goes Well With:n't know?
