Got this as a sample in a bundle that I had & it's not too bad really it tastes a bit like the normal cadburys hot chocolate powder however when I made it I did add 1 tea spoon of sugar as well which was probably the reason why it tasted that way regardless of that though it's a good product and I'd recommend it :) If there are any new customers it would be much appreciated if you use the reference code BRANDON-RA2 you'll get a 25% discount and I'll get a referral bonus :)Goes Well With:Hot full fat milk
Great for satisfying a sweet tooth on cold winter days. It's easy to mix based on the instructions and delicious warmed up. A dream came true :)Goes Well With:Great by itself or topped with sugarfree low fat whipped cream
I've had to experiment on how best to make this hot chocolate. I've discovered mixing the cold components (either water or milk with the powder) in a processor (I use my NutriBullet) then heating in a microwave is the only way to make this drink. It gives a smooth and good tasting hot chocolate. As good as standard hot chocolate with the benefit of protein. Decent.
taste really good. best way to mixed it is to pour milk or water first and make it pasty before pouring hot water.Goes Well With:milk, almond milk
Not a very nice taste, didn't mix just clumped together so unable to drink. Won't buy again and wouldn't recommend either
This hot chocolate has an excellent taste, it mixes well, and sometimes if I am in a rush I just use a folk to whisk it quickly and its still great! It has a high protein content and it really helps to give my life some normality whilst training without feeling either guilty or deprived! I would 110% recommend this product to anyone looking to increase their protein intake without sacrificing their current lifestyle.Goes Well With:Protein Cookie
Love this, I love hot chocolate and this has to be one of the best things! I do half almond milk and water tsp of Cocoa its hard to mix so I use a hand blender which makes it lovely and froffy bang it in the microwave it gets a little sickly but what hot chocolate doesn't! Goes Well With:Milk water cocoa
This is great to use over the winter months if you love drinking hot chocolate. You need to be clever in how you mix this as it sometimes can remain clumpy and chewing on your hot chocolate isn't the best way to consume it. I found that mixing it with either a little milk or hot water into a paste works best for me then continue adding either more hot water/milk a bit at a time until you don't see any lumps.
I followed the instructions step by step and not once did it work. The hot chocolate turns out very lumpy and basically undrinkable
Very protein rich drink with a lovely chocolate taste. Might be a little bit sweet. Instructions said microwave it and I followed as always, it came out nice and smooth really easy to drink. One time I don't have room temperature water in the kettle so I put hot water in the mug and put the powder in, it got super lumpy, tasted weird and definitely doesn't work that way. So only works with unheated water. Also, the stains are a bit hard to wash off!Goes Well With:A mug and normal temperature water.
This stuff is great as hot chocolate however I mostly use it for oatmeal. Regular protein powder is fine mixed in but somehow this product is even better. Give it a go! Goes Well With:Oatmeal
I love this product, I use it mixed in with my Oats and PB and it tastes delicious I can't fault it. One of my favourite products from MP. Goes Well With:Oats and PB
This hot chocolate is horrible. I've tried to make it a few times but it always ends up horrible and lumpy. I would not recommend buying it. The taste is also a bit sickening
This hot chocolate is a must if your a chocolate lover, I use a little hand whisk to whisk mine up and it creates a lovely smooth drink with a good frothy topping. Impressed from day one quickly in my top face products Goes Well With:Anything
This protein hot chocolate is the healthier alternative that I've been looking for !! And it tastes great. My sister now steals it on me and has ditched her Cadbury hot chocolate!
Tastes so nice but good luck in mixing it so it won't be clumpy. I do like my evening hot chocolate but I have yet to find a way to avoid the pebbles of powder floating on the drink.Goes Well With:Fireplace and big fuzzy throw
I've had protein hot chocolate from other companies before and they've been okay but I've always felt like I needed to put in some normal hot chocolate mix as well to make it actually taste good. Not this one, it tastes really good without any assistance from anything else. It even tastes good with water which I think is a tough thing to do. Don't follow the instructions on the packet that tell you to stir it in, you'll get serious lumps if you do that. Shake it up in your shaker before pouring it into your mug to heat up in the microwave and it'll be silky smooth and taste incredible. Protein content could be a little higher but it's cool really, I use 2 scoops and fill up my big sports direct mug. Get it.Goes Well With:Snacking desires for something sweet.
This is a really nice product. It tastes amazing and hits the sweet spot. I love that it gets frothy on top too which I've not seen often with regular hot chocolate powders. I find it a tad hard to mix in, it's 'poofy' like flour almost. But either add it straight to a pan with the warming (skimmed) milk or if you are using a microwave: I heat half the milk for one minute, then mix the powder, then top up with the rest of the milk and heat till completed.Goes Well With:Skimmed milk and bedtime
Really enjoy this, tastes as good as your normall full fat/sugar hot chocolate. Make sure you add the powder to water and then microwave it, as the first time I added boiling water from the kettle to the powder and it doesn't mix well that way, but the instructions do state to add it to cold water and microwave it :) Goes Well With:On its own
Perfect mixing instructions: - 300ml skimmed milk (works best- have tried almond milk but not as nice) - weigh out 25g (about 1 scoop provided full) - microwave the milk for 2 mins- (my mic is approx 900W)- until very hot- BUT DO NOT BURN THE MILK- adjust as necessary -put milk in protein mixer with mesh grill and lid ready, add either the full scoop of protein or half- depending on how much time you have- if i'm in a rush, I just throw the 25g in at once- if you have time, put half in, mix, then add the other half - secure the lid of the protein shaker with the mesh grill secured too, make sure lid is secure- shake for 10 seconds then open up lid because the pressure will have built up from the heat- close the lid and shake again - then simply use a sieve- pour the contents through the sieve into a large mug- PERFECT HOT CHOCOLATE WITH NO LUMPS! there shouldn't be any lumps anyway but I can't stand them so I do this to make sure - I usually prepare the hot chocolate for a pre-bed drink, so I will simply keep it in the protein shaker until ready, heat it up in the mic for 1 minute, stir it, then another 30 seconds.....PERFECT HOT CHOCOLATE. Goes Well With:skimmed milk- 25g of this hot chocolate is plenty
