After reading reviews I was very apprehensive. I've now tried the chocolate, strawberry & vanilla flavours - all are good and taste significantly better than I expected. Love that they are non GMO but my only concern is the sucralose. Going forward, I will probably buy unflavoured. All in all a great product that I would highly recommend.Goes Well With:Soy milk, blueberries and some matcha
I got strawberry cream and I hated it at first, it does not mix well with water and I couldn't get it to mix well (lumpy). It seems to mix well with fat as I got the best result mixing with coconut milk (although soy milk works too) The taste, when mixed with plant-milk, is really good. To mix I add the powder to the milk, shake and then add water until I get the right consistency. This way I don't get any lumps and the shake is creamy. It's on the thicker side, which I like as I use it to replace my breakfast when cutting.Goes Well With:Coconut milk, soy milk.
Brilliant chocolate taste not powdery at all and mixes really well
The flavour is not great. The consistency is so thick it is impossible to drink. Even if you put a lot of liquid the powder soaks all the moisture up and it becomes a big clump if paste. I actually dread drinking it and just gulp it down to get it over with :(
I am lactose intolerant and can not have dairy. This is a great alternative with a lot of protein per serving. The strawberry cream tastes great and is like a thick shake (a good one). It’s great to see MyProtein with lots of non-dairy alternatives such as these. I am now on my second batch and have 1 for breakfast and 1 after weight training or a cycle. It is also very low fat and carbs and great if you’re on a high protein trimming diet. Goes Well With:Water
I've used the chocolate flavour in this range before and wanted to try a new flavour which is just a nice. This is a lot thicker than normal Whey Protein so a lot more liquid is needed to mix it up. A slight aftertaste not found with Whey Protein but nothing unpleasent. I usually take this 15-30 minutes after an intense workout.Goes Well With:Heavy training sessions
Utterly impossible to drink. Tried mixing two scoops of this with a LITRE OF WATER (usually mix two scoops of whey with 500ml of milk with no problems) and it is still no more liquified than a PASTE. The powder is so fine and dense, it simply soaks up all moisture and congeals instead of dissolving Totally useless for all intensive purposes.
My mixing tip: put in your smoothie ingredients first e.g. soya milk, water, banana, almonds, frozen berries, then put the soya protein on top. Blend it and you won't have any mix problems. If you put the powder at the bottom I find it doesn't mix well. I have tried all sorts of other plant proteins and this for me is the best tasting and best digested. I go for the flavourless and mix it in a smoothie with the above. It enjoy it a lot like this. Goes Well With:Soya milk, frozen berries, peanut butter, banana, almonds, water.
I’ve been using the impact whey protein for a while now but since going vegan I switched to this one! One thing I noticed immediately was that it is VERY thick! I had to add some water to thin it out a bit. Also when I add it to my oats it all clumps together but this doesn’t bother me. I got vanilla and I can say it does taste good but not the same as the impact whey one. Overall would reccomend as a good vegan powder!Goes Well With:Almond milk Oats
After reading bad reviews about the chocolate taste I eventually decided to give the strawberry flavour a go and I ended up having a bad experience. This protein is really hard to mix and despite I tried to it still leave some chunks of product without mixing. The taste is horrible. You guys really need to improve the Soy Protein formula and there are a lot of complaints about this!Goes Well With:Nothing
