The chocolate flavour doesn't taste like chocolate at all. It is also very grainy. I add fruits to it, i never have it on its own to mask the flavour. Im getting used to it, but would recommend the chocolate by its self
If you like Angel delight/pudding texture you'll love this! I brought the chocolate smooth one and although I was expecting a normal 'protein shake' consistency this is so much nicer and more pleasurable to eat! It makes a kind of protein pudding which tastes great (I mix it with coconut milk) and I have it with coconut yoghurt with berries or banana for breakfast or dessert. LOVE LOVE LOVEGoes Well With:Coconut milk, Coconut yoghurt, fruit
I brought soy protein isolate chocolate flavour and I found it has a lovely chocolate taste and very pleasant to drink. I mix mine with soy milk so it's a delicious drink after the gym and provides me with a good amount of protein which is especially needed as I do not eat meat and being pre diabetic I stick to a low carb, high protein diet. Great value. Will definitely order again.
My body didn't seem to agree with Whey and other dairy-based proteins so I gave this a try. I originally ordered this in the 2.5kg unflavoured variant a few months back and have been slowly working my way through it. Taste: The unflavoured version tastes fine as long as you're okay with Soy milk / Tofu, if you get the unflavoured then mix in some bananas or FlavDrops. Consistency: It can be a little gloopy if you put too much powder in, my advice is to use more water or milk substitutes. Mixability: This stuff is harder to mix than standard Whey. It is thicker and less powdery. Should be fine to mix in a standard protein shaker as long as you fill it up with a little water first. I now use a blender to mix mine. Overall: After a few months of using this I'm very happy with it. Goes Well With:Soy milk (other non-dairy milk substitutes), non-dairy yogurt, bananas, berries, FlavDrops
I've been using this product over the last year or so and have found it fine to use and tastes good. Couldn't get on with whey powders as I have a lacto intolerance. Sure you've got to shake it a bit more to get it to blend and I add more water and lacto free milk 50/50 than suggested it's fine and still tastes good. Never had any stomach problems with this product. Recommended if you want a protein shake thats easy on your guts.Goes Well With:Bananas, blueberries
I ordered strawberry, really nice add more water then it says it's thick and is much better for my stomach than the milk protean Goes Well With:Water just add more then recommended
Saw this and thought id give it a try. Its so nice, I got the vanilla flavour and mixed it with chocolate soya milk and it is the one thing i look forward to in my day. You do have to shake it a bit to mix but overall it is quite smooth and makes like a milkshakey drink.Goes Well With:Chocolate soya Milk
This is for the vanilla flavour. I'm very disappointed in this one. It just doesn't mix well with anything. I would usually have it with water and going by the instructions and using the ratios it states, the shake is just undrinkable! It is too thick by far, and if I add more water the flavour is lost. I'm using a blender cup to mix but even it leaves powder floating at the top. I took advantage of the BOGOF offer when it was on and got the chocolate too. I'm dreading even trying it. Maybe just use the Vanilla one for baking instead of as a shakeGoes Well With:Tortilla chips
The chocolate flavour is the best protein shake I've tasted - not too sweet, quite creamy and easy to digest. I'd recommend a whisk ball shaker as it can be quite thick to mix but all in all, my favourite shake to date. Great stuff - highly recommended.
I normally don't like protein shakes, they normally sit on my stomach and make me feel quezy. This one does not and I believe its the consistency that works for me. Its quite thick. If I blend it in the nutribullet it is like having angel delight but for me that makes it so much better! Its light, it doesn't feel stodgy and I got the chocolate flavour and it's absolutely delicious. I'd really recommend. Goes Well With:A spoon!
