I love myProtein and the varied range of products, but this is one of the very very few I've come across that I couldn't get on with at all. Disclaimer - I made this with almond milk and used a microwave as I was at work, but I'm not certain if this would have made a difference to the taste and texture of the porridge. I didn't find that it mixed well and after a good long stint of cooking it was still lumpy and grainy all at the same time. One to avoid in my view.Goes Well With:Nothing! Avoid
For someone who does not particularly like porridge I would say this product really holds its own. I often train in the morning before work, but do not have the time to make good post gym meals before work such as omelettes etc etc. People need to remember this product will never blow you away with how amazing it tastes. But that fact is that you are eating it for the health benefits more than anything. It is ready in a matter of minutes and the benefits are well worth it. Goes Well With:Strawberry or any bit of fruit on the side
Runny, with a few unchewable oats thrown in. I gave it to my hens. They reported dissatisfaction of the highest degree and turned their beaks up. And they eat ANYTHING.Goes Well With:The bin
Was really looking forward to trying this but turned out to be disappointed was runny opted it would thicken up but didn't lucky it was a sample pack went down the sink easily enough Goes Well With:The sink

Had high hopes for this porridge but it sadly left a lot to be desired. Mixed with water and whilst mixed well after microwaving it was still just as runny! I have a sweet tooth and this was way too sweet for me.Goes Well With:Sadly can't recommend
Really nice tasting porridge definitely a mist for breakfast Goes Well With:Goes well on its own with normal porridge you need honey or whatever but it's full of taste so theys no need to add unnecessarily calories 👍🏿
I had no problem with the mixability and it smelled amazing, but I'm sorry it had a terrible taste. 😢Goes Well With:Water
I made this the first time using the instructions and it was far too runny, even the second time with 1/2 the water it was still too runny. Not a bad flavour, but very sweet. I'm sticking to my normal porridge oats that I add protein powder to.
I am new to this website and my brother recommended it to me so I bought a couple of testers to try, this being one of them, the Banana flavour. It is bright yellow! Looked quite cool but unfortunately I did not like it at all. It did not taste nice and the texture was not nice either. It did mix well, I just think personally this wasn't for me, I don't want to put anyone off as the other reviews I've seen have been ok for other flavors so I think I will try the chocolate one next. Still, I do love this website, a very wide range of things and flavors and having testers like this is great! As I didn't want to buy a huge bag to find I didn't like it. So juts read up on the product and have an open mind. Delivery is very cheap and very fast! I am still ordering again from this website. Goes Well With:Water, Milk.
Instructions on the packet are wrong - they state to add boiling water and leave it, this doesn't work. The porridge simply doesn't mix well, leaving it incredibly lumpy (I like thick porridge, but this isn't thick, it's just not mixed well) and the taste is simply awful... far too sweet. Buy some oats and mix in protein powder yourself - trust me, it's better.Goes Well With:The bin.
I bought a couple of these samples to have after early morning cardio at work, and I was so disappointed :( I tried one with just adding hot water like the packet says, it didn't thicken up at all even though I only used 200ml water and not the full 250ml suggested. The second batch I made with hot water and microwaved to thicken it up - it was a weird grainy texture that hadn't mixed well albeit slightly thicker this time. I got halfway through and gave up and went and had a slice of protein toast instead!!!Goes Well With:Nothing
I don't really like the taste of it, it's unnatural. The oat is too big.
Not the greatest porridge ever, the sweetner makes it really really sweet, and I can never get the consistency right, it always ends up too watery! Fills me up though so can't moan about that!
The instructions on how to prepare this have to be wrong . It makes a very watery porridge where the oats are not cooked! As well as this it tastes so sickly sweet. Such a shame as the protein powders are great thought this would be a better product.
Bought this in about 4 different flavours. After making each one and tasting I threw them all down the sink. Its sickeningly sweet. Silly amount of sweetener added to it. Def wont be buying again. Better off mixing your own whey in with itGoes Well With:A bin bag
I use MyProtein a lot and really like their products and will no doubt continue to use them. However, if I ever taste the strawberry flavoured protein porridge again, it'd be too soon. Maybe it would have been better with milk, but with water as suggested it was difficult to eat. It was like chewing on lumpy protein shake, for 10 whole minutes. The sweet strawberry flavour tasted cheap too. I think if i were to try protein porridge again, I'd have to go unflavoured.Goes Well With:Only tried it with water - not good.
This not bad but wish now I had got another flavour as the chocolate is very sweet and bit sicklyGoes Well With:Boiled eggs and toast
Great way to sneak in extra protein for breakfast. Cheap price too
Smelt lovely mixed well But the taste wasn't banana it tasted spicy and really hard to eat Goes Well With:I tried it with fruit
