The carbohydrates in Instant Oats will contribute to muscle recovery† after high intensity and/or endurance exercise. Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 2 1/3 large scoops (100g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained through consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours after exercise.

Instant oats is one my favourite products from MyProtein. Makes my mornings much easier by just mixing up 100G Instant oats, 25G whey protein in 300ml milk. It's maybe not the best tasting breakfast but is full of good calories and i actually like it. I usually also eat 1-2 tbsp peanut butter with it and just wash it down with the shake. I'm on it daily for 3 years now.Goes Well With:Whey Protein, Milk or water
I bought Instant Oats unflavoured. They have a pretty good taste (resembling, well, oats) and, oddly enough, they mix nice. It's not like a protein powder, but still the mixability is really good. Goes Well With:FlavDrops Milk Protein Shake
Day one I mixed the powder with 250ml boiling water as I thought it would need to be boiling to work. Bad idea. Day two I used almond milk straight from the fridge, and plenty of it. Much creamier, better consistency, tasted fine. I bought 5kg of the instant oats so shall be experimenting with what works/doesn't. So convenient, ready in seconds even with cold liquid. I suspect a lot of people have been put off their instant oats from similar initial experiences but if you get the mix right it's worth itGoes Well With:Almond milk
Use these with unflavoured Whey Impact Isolate to make great protein bars as a mid morning snack through the week. They work brilliantly in the recipe and save the hassle of using a food processor on regular oats. Have also used them in protein smoothies/shakes before to add a few more calories; they need a bit of work to mix thoroughly with water but their pretty good for bulking. Goes Well With:Whey Impact Isolate
Starting lifting at around 16 years old I've long been hunting for the magic formula to gain weight and strength. Varying between 60kg and 65kg for 4 years I struggled massively to ever reach a caloric surplus, until I stumbled across these instant oats. My problem, like many hardgainers, was that I couldn't stomach breakfast which further hindered my ability to eat enough macros throughout the day to make any significant/notable progress. Now tracking my macros via My Fitness Pal I make a smoothie every morning with 115g instant oats, water, frozen berries, 1-2 bananas, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 2 large raw eggs and OJ. This amounts to anywhere between 850-100 calories. Doing this over the past 1.5 months I've gained 6kg (14ish pounds) of mass, and made massive strength gains in all major lifts. If you're struggling for mass gaining, I implore you to try this! Cheers MyProteinGoes Well With:Berries, bananas, orange juice, apple juice, PB, honey, eggs.
