So, being a very thin but active person I decided I wanted to chunk up a bit (5ft 10 and 52kg). I've been trying to gain weight with varying success for years but thought this might be an easier way to gain weight than eating 6 meals a day. I had one of these shakes twice a day for about 2 weeks and didn't gain any weight, but then I stopped taking it thinking it wasn't doing anything and lost 2kg in 2 days. I didn't change anything else! I think this is me having a metabolism that adjusted quickly to the increased calories rather than the product but bear in mind if coming off this that it is probably better to do it gradually so your metabolism can adjust. Also, the unflavoured tastes absolutely awful. Like hold your nose awful. HOWEVER, it mixes really well - I blend half a scoop with milk, coco powder, peanut butter and a small bit of honey and it tastes really good. Half a scoop is much lower than the recommended amount but otherwise the taste is quite overpowering. When just mixed with water it is grim. Don't be put off though as I would buy it again as it is a convenient way to get extra calories, but I can only drink this if I mix it with other flavours to make it palatable.

I have recently switched from the standard weight gainer and although this product tastes great and has a nice think consistency when mixed it never all mixes. You are always left with unmixed bits left at the bottom of the shaker. 

Really wish there were more options to choose from. Not a big fan of chocolate that much but it does taste alright. PLEASE BRING OUT BETTER FLAVOURS! Goes Well With: I mix it with peanut butter and bananas which makes it taste much better.

Absolutely rank. Has a thick gritty texture and tastes like straw/a farm yard. Ordered two bags, I have requested a refund on the unopened one as it makes me feel physiclaly sick. I don't understand how people have said it tastes nice?! Only a wannabe vegan at the moment so will be sticking to whey for now. Goes Well With: Non existant taste buds

Just tried this product for the first time. Whoever works on MP's formulations hasn't got their sums right here. Even with 500ml of (soya) milk, not all of the product dissolves, and the resulting mixture is heavy and viscous. I suspect there's too much in the way of carbohydrate content for this to be properly soluble in only half a litre of fluid. I suspect that, in common with other 'gainer' products across the range, the shake i've pre-mixed for after my workout will thicken and be almost impossible to drink without adding extra fluid. However, the natural chocolate flavour does taste great. Goes Well With: TBC!
