What are Organic Raw Cacao Nibs?
The Cacao Bean is the dried and fully fermented seed of the Theobroma Cacao tree from which cocoa solids and cocoa butter are extracted.
The raw beans are selected for the finest quality and fermented to reduce their initial bitterness. After cleaning the dried beans in natural water, they are peeled and their core extracted to be broken into “nibs”. The production process employed helps to preserve the nutritional value of the cacao without using additives. Peruvian Cacao Nibs are certified organic by the Soil Association under the code GB-ORG-05.

These taste lovely, however, I'm now worried to eat them due to shell, my teeth can't cope with the crunch! A shame as they would be a great additive.
Inedible bits of shell mixed in, impossible to spot and very annoying
Thought I would give this a go to add flavour to my meals. I tried it raw, not nice. So thought it may be nicer in a meal heated up. That wasn't the case, I couldn't finish one of my favourite meals. I was expecting a nice chocolate taste but it was very bitter and half of it are just shells which are quite hard. Wouldn't recommend.
only tried these in my protein cookies so far and they were great
I used to buy my cacao nibs from Holland and Barratt, however these are half the price and just as tasty!Goes Well With:Porridge, overnight oats, frozen yoghurt
My Protein organic cacao nibs are delicious! Fresh, healthy, chocolatey goodness that are great for mixing in with yoghurt, adding to the various baked and no-bake treats I make, and even eating on their own. Arrived promptly and in perfect condition.
Taste isn't too bad, adds extra texture to cereals and porridge.. Havn't tried in baking as of yet
Looks like an excellent product & I was expecting it to taste bitter just like dark chocolate does. But was hoping could mix with nuts & eat as a snack but I can't eat them. Maybe they would taste better baked in biscuits, will try again. I'm glad I only bought one to try.
Enjoying these with my breakfast cereal in the morning, and also with fruit and yogurt as evening dessert. Have ordered cacao powder and buttons to try out some recipes for home made healthy sweeties.Goes Well With:Breakfast cereal or fruit and yogurt. Nice and crunchy with choccy taste.
I bought some of these with one goal in mind to use with my tea infuser as I have had chocolate tea that was tea and nibs before but soo expensive this way I can use any tea and as much cacao for less money winner all around Goes Well With:Tea and straight in your mouth but wouldn't last long that way also good in porridge
Really dark chocolate taste, only need a few to satisfy the chocolate cravings. If you like the really dark chocolate (90% uowards) then you'll probably like these. Goes Well With:Either on their own, or in vanilla yogurt
More than happy with them, great for mixing into smoothies Goes Well With:Milk, peanut butter, hemp, honey, oats
