Here’s your essential amino acid supplement, containing an optimal 4:1:1 ratio of leucine, isoleucine, and valine. These can’t be produced by your body, you have to get them from your diet – and that’s where we come in.
Our tablets contain three popular essential amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein – making them really important for all fitness goals, whether you’re a dancer or a lifter.
The added leucine of the 4:1:1 ratio blend makes this a popular choice throughout the fitness community.
We’ve also added vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal protein and glycogen metabolism, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Plus, the tablet form means they’re easy to have on the go.

Great product, shame it arrived over a MONTH after I ordered the product. The rest of the order arrived within the week.
This is genuine. I'm a regular my protein customer and swear by their protein powders. But these BCAA tablets almost left me unconcious. I had one table lodge in my throat and no amount of water would take it down. Struggling to breath, I stuck two fingers down my throat and threw it up (and my dinner) after 3 mins of a struggle. Never again.Goes Well With:Death.
Really help with reducing muscle ache after a gym session and can already see the benefits in regards to muscle growth.Goes Well With:Protein shake
Like many of the other reviews I've seen on here I almost died several times with these. Granted I am not the worlds best when it comes to taking tablets but these are ridiculous. I'm recommended to take 4 of these at night along with others but nearly every time I choke on them. I even tried cutting them in half but as they are so thick this didn't help too much. I've taken recommendations from others on here and I'm now going to have the powder. I've heard the unflavoured one is awful but I've had the tropical which I think is very nice! I can't comment in terms of the results as I gave up after a week as it was too much to go through every night (choking is not exactly an enjoyable experience). Like others as well I'd prefer the tablets to be smaller and just have more of them.Goes Well With:Water & The Heimlich Manoeuvre.
Im normally pretty good with tablets but these are way to hard to swallow. I choke on them, if i break them in half they scratch my throat. I have to chew them up (tastes bad) then drink water.
Haven't really noticed any difference at all from when I didn't take them, perhaps I'll notice the difference when I stop...if I do, I'll do another review. I've taken some big pills though, generally they make it easy on you and make the pills with nice rounded corners and edges to make it easier to swallow, these are the biggest pills I've ever come across and they have sharp edges. They're definitely pills you feel going down your throat and there are times where they have made me choke so got to gulp down something thicker than water to dislodge them and send them on their way. Word of advice, bite them in half as you're swilling water round your mouth or take them with protein shakes.Goes Well With:No gag reflex
These are genuinely very good. I'm getting all the great benefits of BCAAs and I don't have to carry around and mix powder all the time. So why three stars you say? Well annoyingly and for some reason beyond my comprehension, MyProtein deem it necessary to add 100% of our RI of B6 Vitamin to these PER SERVING. For me, since I take three servings a day, it means I'm getting 300% of my recommended B6 vitamin intake a day. And, since it's just sensible to take a multivitamin especially when you lift, I'm getting another 150% from my Multivitamin. 450& of the recommended B6 vitamin is pointless, at the least, and dangerous for blood thiningg, at the most? Why? What's the reason for the added B6 vitamin? Why would people want B6 vitamin with their BCAAs? I couldn't find any evidence that B6 vitamin enahnces the effect of BCAAs in any way, so it just seems a case of "common practice", which isn't very beneficial. Anyway that's why the three stars, for the utterly unnecessary B6 overdose.Goes Well With:Definitely not a multivitamin
I've read some reviews of people being able to swallow these whole. You'd need a gold medal to be able to swallow these tablets while they are HUGE. I take vitamins and other tablets frequently but these are ridiculous and they are so sharp. Goes Well With:Water
Surprised at the actual size of the the tablets themselves but I found the easy to take especially when I'm on the go. Goes Well With:Food and exercise
Simple to take yes they are big so if you don't like taking pills then go for the powder form don't give it a bad rating for me it's easier than doing more mixing so yer dog pills are just quicker and simple
I have tried taking these tablets whole, broken in half and ground up. They are almost impossible to take without choking. They do what they're supposed to but need to be smaller and easier to swallow. Either as a soft gel or capsule. I'd rather have to take 6 smaller tablets than risk choking every time I take them.
No idea of the effectiveness as ive only just started trying to take them but these tablets are huge, if you can get them down and keep them down then good on you. Taking upto 12 of these a day - theres no chance. I struggle with 3 and dread taking them. Might blend them up and put in a smoothie from now on. There are least 2.5 times the size of a multivitamin tablet and get lodged in the throat. Have thrown it up a few times as well and they don't taste great. May I suggest you cut the size of the tablets down!!!
Fantastic for on the go!Goes Well With:Creating capsules
These have been a life saver for the Day after ( and day after that) muscle soreness! Really make a difference and let me get back to training the day after a good workout. HOWEVER, this is the first time i was buying aminos and didn't know whether to choose powder or tablets. I thought the tablets would be quicker to consume, but they are HUGE and you're taking 3 at a time! Definitely the powder form for me next time! Goes Well With:A lot of water
These tablets are way way too big. Even breaking them into 3 pieces I couldn't swallow them. I tried crushing them between two spoons but it was both messy and made me feel like a character out of breaking bad. I've no ordered the powder and it's much much betterGoes Well With:The bin!
These are nicknamed dog biscuits because they are so large to swallow. If you're looking at getting BCAAs go and get the powdered version. At least then you can mix with your protein shake post-workout. These are hard to swallow, hard to cut and hard to chew because the taste is so horrible.
Bought these as they came up as suitable for vegetarians on the filter. They arrived today and clearly say 'not suitable for vegetarians' on the side.
I have always been active but now I have notched it up a gear I wanted to reach out to a supplement to enhance my training efforts. After being recommended BCAA's I decided on tablet form as I am fusy with drinks flavours. The tablets are big, but easy to swallow and tasteless. I have been using for 3 weeks now and am seeing definate results and have very few muscle aches compared to previously!
Fast shipping, excellent quality, really good price for this amino!
I use this product only on the days when I go to gym or play football and could notice the effect after the first use. Your muscles will still get sore after high intensity training but not as much as if you don't consume the BCAA. Will definitely recommend it and buy it again.Goes Well With:Protein shake
