This is the worst supplement I have ever purchased trade bad does not mix well unfortunately I purchased 1Kg as was going cheap wish I could get my money back I probably end up throwing it the bin..Very very upset with this purchase
L Leucine is an essential Amino Acid. Its main function is to aid recovery and build muscle after strenuous exercise. I use it for recovery protein drinks after long cycling rides. Since I started using it on a regular basis I have found a big improvement in my recovery window. Out of all the Amino Acids required to form good quality protein, L Leucine is probably the most important for athletes to take. So if you do take protein it is a good idea to supliment it with additional L Leucine.Goes Well With:L Leicine on its own doesn't taste too good so I mix it with MYPROTEIN Impact Whey Protein powder mixed in a shaker with a little honey. I sometimes add a little fruit like Bleuberries or Banana.
This is the must have supplement! Take 3-3g before and after workout with the basic supps (BCAA, Glutamin, Beta-alanin and whey, etc) and your goals are fullfilled. And let me tell you the secret about mixability: like all BCAAs mix it in warm (~body temperature) water (or tea)!Goes Well With:Everything

So firstly - Does it mix with water - Absolutely not - it just sits on top Does it taste good, absolutley not, it taste like soluble paracetomol and you kind of have to knock it back and keep drinking water. Does it work, - With all suplements now, we cant really tell if its working, we can just hope its doing something Would i buy again, probably will , relatively cheap, and is one of the main amino acids responsible for Muscle growth, Goes Well With:plain water, do not mix with your protein shake, it makes anything taste foul, why ruin ur tasty shake

Indisputably the most important aminoacid for muscle growth. This isolated amino acid + citrulline are my favorite ones. I think they can go well with every diet and bodycomposition. Excellent recovery and muscle spare properties. Mixability is poor, but I easily solve the problem by gulping 6-7 grams after workout directly in my mouth with little bit of water. I use only unflavoured and I cant say its bad, nor good. Its quite neutral. These days I am gonna try the fermented one which is derived from corn and not animal based tissues or waste like this one. Is meant to be unflavoured but if you can call it morning breath flavour I think that would be appropriate. You can taste it in anything. Juice, shakes, the lot and it isn't the best mixer. I love all my other my protein supps but this is not good I'm afraid.

Exactly what you might expect. Not bought for taste so I wouldn't care anyway but I don't pick up any taste at all when mixed with unflavoured whey. Not yet tried it alone but I imagine it is similar to the other powdered BCAA I have tried - not a great taste but not too bad either - If you're a bit odd like me I actually start to enjoy the unique natural flavour. Texture of powder is similar to the other powdered BCAA - slightly waxy texture, does require more shaking to mix with water that a poweder like Whey. I've been adding this to my eating plan for the last two weeks. The powder mixes easily in all manner of liquids (I add to my Myprotein shake before and after workouts and on occassion mix a scoopful into some greek yogurt) also in a soluble vitamin c tab intra workout. On its own the flavour is a bit harsh, but when mixed up its relativley tastless :) It works, the intensity of my training is higher (I'm currently running the 2nd cycle of a cutting programme, strict intake, macros etc) I feel the L'leucine is giving me that little bit extra that I've been needing! Well, it is pure leucine, what can you expect? Powder is messy, but Leucine is effective at boosting MPS with 2.5-5g dose. The price for a kilo is very good. Taste is quite strong, but not too bad. Does not mix at all at first. But if you swirl it around in your shaker and let it settle for 30 mins+ it will dissolve completely.Goes Well With:Post workout shake.
First time I've used this amino acid and it is excellent. I have increased muscle mass and lost fat. The down side is the fine powder won't mix with anything so its a matter of a teaspoon full into the mouth and down it with lots of water. Worth the effort.Goes Well With:whey and high protein meals

This stuff does not mix well with liquids so try it mixed with a spoon full of natural yogurt, mixes 100% but tastes awful ..mixing problem solved
Tastes disgusting by itself but mixed with a flavoured BCAA product it tastes fine and enhances the Leucine to Isoleucine and Valine ratio. Have honestly noticed more muscle retention when dieting after adding in two servings on training days. If you can stand the taste, you could get away with Leucine on its own.Goes Well With:Flavoured BCAAs

As all the other reviews have said, alone this creates quite a chemically taste, so I always mix with a flavoured pre-workout or post workout flavoured protein. Doesn't mix at all with a stirrer, mixes very well within a shaker!Goes Well With:Pre-workout or Protein
