Risk of niacin flush if it’s your first time trying a pre workout

This is the first time I ever used a pre workout. 2 words-> Niacin flush. Never had this experience before, got me to the gym and I worked out more than I ever had but I don’t think I’ll buy it again because the prickly feeling over my skin wasn’t pleasant for me. I’ve been advised from friends to have taken half or even a 1/4 when using for the first time but I’m happy not using it. The taste was lovely which is why I drank it all!
