Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.
2. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.
Carbohydrates contribute to muscle recovery† after high intensity and/or endurance exercise. Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 1 large scoop (35g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained through consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours of exercise.

I needed a standalone carb that needed to be able to mix with a protein powder or with just water if I wanted..... I chose unflavoured. Works a treat. I would say that it does add a very slight sweetness to your chosen liquid but that's a good thing for me. Good product to hit macros. I normally mix with a protein shake after or during a workout I find it adds an almost syrupy texture to the drink and very sticky when on fingers. Goes Well With:Protein shake

Bought this to help me meet my carbohydrate target for the day more easily, and for some energy during long workouts. It mixes very easily even with a small amount of water, and doesn't have a strong flavour, so it's very easy to drink. Just tastes like a mildly sweet, slightly viscous water. 1g of Maltodextrin = 1g of carbs so its very easy to use if you have exact macros you need to meet at the end of the day or something. Some people have complained about stomach upset with Maltodextrin, but I personally haven't experienced this with 100g per workout.Goes Well With:Impact Whey
