Citrulline Malate is supposedly the best when it comes to the pump according to science, but from my personal experience this does absolutely nothing for me, near no pump and just seems like forever waiting for something to happen. I would recommended trying it because as we know everyone is different and this may be way more effective for someone else as it's a good quality item with good ratios. I took min 8G daily and even more on training days before working out. I personal get much better pump and motivation for AAKG.
Goes Well With:
BCAA or pre-workout

Key part of Urea Cycle!

The primary dietary source of Citrulline is found in Watermelon; in fact, the name is derived from the Latin for Watermelon, Citrullus. However, dietary intake of Citrulline is practically insignificant, so it's valuable to supplement regardless.
Goes Well With:
Citrulline Malate is commonly taken alongside other pre-workout ingredients, such as Beta Alanine, Trimethylglycine and AAKG.

Dosage - Ar$e and Elbow

Just trying Citrulline for the first time ands it seems to being doing what it should - so thumbs up there. Dosage - it's been said before, but seriously - 7.5 scoops that do not weigh the recommended 2g dose anyway?? Put the correct size scoop in there and show a bit more respect for your customers by giving accurate dosage info. This is the third review I've written criticising conflicting dosage instructions.

Citrulline

Received order day with some creatine. Love th citrulline goes well with creatine and gives a good pump. Only complaint and its prob a one off but citrulline bag was split so lost a bit powder but still good deal.

2:1 Citrulline Malate

Very sour taste but that’s unavoidable for Citrulline Malate. Only major complaint is the serving size and scoop. 2g serving size is far off the dose used most studies and the recommended dose for exercise (6-8g), and 7 1/2 “mini” scoops seems ridiculous when they could have just included a 2g scoop.   HOWEVER, it certainly increases blood flow to working muscles causing the “pump” effect promised.

Pre work out boost

I use Citrulline Malate as one of the ingredients to my pre work out cocktail. My focus and motivation have improved beyond recognition. I feel stronger and my work outs seem to be more intense. The only problem I've had is that living in a hot climate, the powder congealed and then didn't mix well. I now store in the fridge.

Caffine, salt Beta Alanine

Citrulline Malate

Overall it’s a good product which is also recommended by a lot of YouTube busy builders and nutritionists.  To get the pump though you have to have approximately 6 grams, which is also standard in pre-workouts. Also as a 2:1 ratio you’d get 4grams citrulline and 2 grams malaic acid in the 6 grams required.  It is sour naturally but I enjoy the taste when mixed with squash. Mixes with anything as long as you mask the sour taste.
Goes Well With:
Any double strength squash

Effective

This is an amino acid so it tastes acidic - that's not a criticism, just a statement of fact. It seems to work as a pump and vascularity enhancer. Measuring and mixing can be tiresome - I plan to get a capsule making setup and use this as part of custom pre-workout - that way it's done in one go and I doubt have to taste it.
Goes Well With:
Water. Goes better with capsules.
