This is one of the worst tasting protein I have ever tried. Leaves an awful after taste in the mouth. It is very easy to mix, no issue there.
I seen the mixed reviews before ordering so thought i’d give my side too. As someone who’s trying to avoid dairy I thought I would try it and was unsure of how it would taste/blend etc. I got the chocolate flavour and it tastes similar to other chocolate flavoured whey just a little weaker, and the texture isn’t that different either only a little more gritty but not enough to whinge about as a negative effect, I mean it’s vegan after all, and all the good tasting stuff isn’t! If you’re wanting something vegan i’d certainly recommend Goes Well With:Water
Love this protein! Tastes and mixes way better than the Protein Works which i have also tried. Goes Well With:Almond Milk
As protein shakes go, this is by far the best I have used. Most whey based ones play havoc with my digestive system giving rise to "wind", something many others I know at the gym suffer from too. The vegan blend simply doesn't give rise to digestive issues, allowing me to equally enjoy my post workout time without the worry of "wind". Oh and of course it is brilliant as a recovery protein boost too.Goes Well With:I mix with chilled water, taste can be a bit powdery but pleasant, however as I simply glug it down it isn't a big deal.
I really enjoy this protein powder. I have used other brands and they tasted vile. This is definitely a winner for me.Goes Well With:Alpro soya milk and cacao powder
The blend works great, has a good taste and mixes well. Seems to be digested far easier than all milk based proteins, also doesn't give the bloat feeling that can often be felt when consuming high quantities of whey protein. Goes Well With:Water for a lovely smooth protein shake.
When you blend it with fruits its ok, when you mix it with water its difficult to swallow. Its sticks in your throat. I bought a 2,5 kg bag so I will have to see it through. Positive thing is that working out is easy now compared to drinking this stuff.Goes Well With:Whey protein shake
Be aware that the taste is just awful, but if you're looking for a non-dairy alternative it does the trick. I bought it the first time because it was really cheap, and if I find the same offer probably I would buy it again, otherwise I'll stick with whey.Goes Well With:Bananas and peanut butter
I’d like to start by saying well done and thank you to my protein for making a vegan shake that actually tastes good! In my quest to transition to vegan I’ve tried loads of vegan protein shakes and was beginning to think I may have to accept I will consume ones that just taste ‘fine’ but not really enjoyable. But now I’ve tried the whole fuel range and I’m satisfied that I’ve found a couple that I will actually love consuming. Natural vanilla - 10/10 very nice Vanilla raspberry - 10/10 wow what a flavour Natural chocolate - 2/10 found it unpalatable, but I’m going to try mixing it with a banana and cocoa powder like someone else suggested. I prefer my shakes with milk- I can use less shake mix and the milk helps keep its thickness. I tried the flavours with Alpro hazelnut milk and they were lovely, I will also try with cashew milk and soya milk too. Thanks again MyProtein, I’ve found my love of vegan protein shakes now :-)Goes Well With:Alpro hazelnut milk
Best vegan protein I’ve tried! I have the chocolate smooth and blend it with banana (the bigger, the better), 150ml almond milk and crushed ice. The texture is like some other comments say, sandy but when mixed with other ingredients it’s not at all. Started noticing the effect almost immediately.Goes Well With:Oat/almond milk, banana & ice as a milkshake or used in pancake mix.
Chocolat Smooth flavour is perfect! For the non-vegans, the macros here are nearly as good whey protein. However, so much more beneficial for your health, environment and the animals. Goes Well With:By itself. Smoothie (vegan) For cooking pancakes or porridge.
I was dubious about this buy as some of the reviews were mixed but I really like it! The texture does differ from impact whey but mixed well with my oats and I would say actually makes them a nicer, creamier texture. Just wish there were more flavours! Also great with smoothiesGoes Well With:Oats, smoothies
This is the tastiest protein powder I have found and the macros are great. Many vegan powders are quite high carb but these are pretty low which suits my diet plan. Would love a strawberry or vanilla! Goes Well With:In a smoothie
Got to give credit where credit is due. This is hands the down the nicest tasting soy free vegan powder in the UK. Myprotein have done a really really good job of masking the taste of the pea protein, which is pretty hard to do. It might have slightly less protein per serving compared to the vegan powder offered by competitors, but this can easily be forgiven because of how much better it tastes. If you're in the market for a vegan powder, honestly dont waste your time with any other vegan powder. Goes Well With:Oat milk,
Ordered this in the chocolate flavour and it's disgusting, with a very chalky texture. Definitely would not recommend.
Best tasting out of all the protein powders I have brought.
This is by far the most disgusting produce I’ve ever bought. After reading reviews I was a bit sceptical but I was fooled by the guys who clearly have no sense of taste in their mouth. It was foul. Sandy texture as it doesn’t blend well. Tasted rank with water, tried it was almond milk which slightly improved, but still awful. Waste of money!!! Goes Well With:NOTHING.... don’t waste your money
Ive tasted some realllll bad vegan proteins before and this is by far the best so far. Its not amazing... but thats because we are so used to milk and whey, but mixed with a frozen banana makes it so much better. It does leave a sort of powdery feeling in your mouth whilst you drink it but it goes away quickly afterwards. And its worth it for the quick on-the-go protein in the morning.Goes Well With:Frozen bananas Cacao powder Maca powder
Good for getting that extra protein in. Taste is not the best but ok ish. Sandy taste left in mouth. Goes Well With:Soya milk or coconut milk for a thicker texture
Can't go wrong with this stuff really no problems with it, anyone saying it's not nice is just being a lil picky, honestly you can make it taste how you like also with a good texture, definitely recommend this pack Goes Well With:Only tried in shakes
