Took over 16 days to arrive. Longer than my all Inclusive holiday to egypt, with my ex bird who I met in a back street titty bar. The shake itself leaves a taste in your mouth, like a beetroot burger after a 3 day bender with the local sure start mum. When I rang customer services the bloke was talking to me like he was trying to sell me mkat. He thought he was a proper lad. All I wanted to do was ask where my vegan protein was, not engage in alpha male bromance flirting. They blamed it on Black Friday. I blamed it on My uncle, who I later found out was my biological father. Tbh he gets the blame for everything I fail at. It’s easier to have an excuse, rather than hold my hands up and admit i’m a wasteman. Goes Well With:Goes well with my the dustbin.
I am a big fan of meat and this is the first vegan product I have ever used. It is genuinely tasty and I prefer it to the more artificial taste of whey. It isn’t super sweet like a lot of protein powders and has more of a natural nutty taste, so bear this in mind if you are sweet toothed. I like to blend 40g of powder with 50g blueberries/25g peanut butter in water - absolutely delicious. Goes Well With:Berries and nut butters Deadlifting
I really love the protein powder itself. Mixes well, nice texture and nice taste. The only downside to this one is that it’s not massively chocolatey in my opinion! But it is still delicious :)Goes Well With:On its own, smoothies and porridge
I saw a lot of reviews saying it didn’t mix and it tasted bad. I’m not a fan of the taste and texture of protein powder but as a vegan and someone interested in fitness I bought the powder to help up the protein in my diet. I use mine in smoothies with frozen blackberries and strawberry’s and the taste of the chocolate and the fruit is something I really enjoy!Goes Well With:Fruit Smoothies
I've been vegan for a long time now and I've tried loads of different things over the years. I saw the negative reviews about the taste and thought "I've got this! I've tried loads of weird stuff, how bad can it be?" The answer to that question is bad. It's not to say it's a bad product, just that there are other ones (even on this website) that taste so much better. If this isn't a problem for you then go for it, however I thought that too at first and regretted it later. Goes Well With:I've yet to find out.
Does not mix well, very grainy and coats your mouth in an unpleasant film. Flavour is disgusting too, 100% would not recommend this product
It’s like drinking tasteless powder - so unpleasant - does not mix in shaker at all! unpalatable especially once you had some of the whey ones that at least taste of something. Avoid!
Bought this as the whey protein powder was giving me a tummy ache and bloating. However this does not taste as nice, nor does it mix in my smoothie at all. Whereas the whey version made it thick and rich, this just tastes powdery on my tongue and has a slight after taste.
Painfully bad. For those who have eaten cardboard (for example, when parts are stuck to frozen meat), it's remarkably similar.Goes Well With:I managed to somewhat kill the taste by blending it with various tropical fruits.
Tastes like dust from a building site. Absolutely unpalatable, avoid!Goes Well With:Staying in the bag and being thrown out!
The pea protein overpowers everything, both flavour and texture. I'am personally not a fan of pea protein, as I find it really tastes like beans and its quite grainy in general. This one specifically is not as bad as regular pea protein, but you can taste it right away. It blends well and sweetness wise I don't think it's sweeter as any other protein, as a lot of people said about it . It's fine. It DOES NOT taste like chocolate at all :( In general it's a good quality protein, that blends well. Its ok if you mix it with something flavourfull like peanut butter or banana in a smoothie. Unbearable on its own and ruins oatmeal :( Goes Well With:smoothies, maybe if you mix it with almond milk and A LOT of cocoa it would be ok
I’m not great with dairy and have been trying to cut it out my diet, my protein was the last thing remaining, so thought I would give this a try! I honestly wish I hadn’t bothered!! This is the worst tasting protein I have ever had!! It doesn’t mix well, either in a smoothie or with water!! It has a horrible taste to it that lingers and I can’t even describe what it is and it’s just really powdery, it’s all you can feel when you’re trying to force it down!!! Avoid this at all costs! I’m now stuck with 5kg (bought two as they were on offer!), there’s no way I can force myself to use this! Such a waste of money.
Disgusting overpowering taste. Even added water and a tbsp of cocoa powder but still disgusting! Avoid!
It is full of vital nutrients and BCAAs as well as having a chocolate taste. I admit that it isn’t amazing on its own but when mixed in to a smoothie or shake, it gives it a boost. It is also nice on its own, just better in a smoothie. Would defo buy againGoes Well With:Fruit, milk and a Myprotein shaker
Has the consistency of a mud found on Sunday league football pitch during the winter. Tastes like cement and mixes like it too. Goes Well With:Nothing
Tastes okay. Works really well in smoothies! Great to fight your chocolate craving.
Never written a review before, but thought I'd make an exception on the off chance one person heeds this warning and can save themselves a bit of cash. This is by far the worst tasting protein I've ever consumed. Perhaps the flavoured versions taste better but I would avoid at all costs
I cant say much about effectiveness but this tastes really bad and doesn't mix with water great. I wouldn't recommend this.
I use the chocolate flavor. This is a really affordable Vegan Blend. It mixes fine for a vegan protein powder (meaning it will be grainy but you expect that from anything with hemp) but I don't recommend blending anything sweet with it as it is already incredibly sweet. I tried it with a banana and it was almost too sweet to finish & I have a sweet tooth so that's saying a lot. Even berries can be a bit much if you add too many or sweet nes like strawberries. I usually add cacao and a few frozen raspberries to tone the sweetness down a bit and to add more antioxidants after a workout. I would love it if it was just the pea and hemp but Myprotein doesn't do that blend. The artificial sweetness is an acquired taste but if you can add cacao, it actually turns it rich and chocolatey.Goes Well With:Almond milk, tbsp of cacao and a small handful of frozen mixed berries.
Vegan blend that may contain milk and eggs?
