I doubled up on my last order of this unflavoured collagen protein powder, as I've used it after every training session for a long time now. I usually had it with coffee and using my milk frother, it made a lovely, creamy latte. I have just opened my first newly designed packet and as many other reviews have mentioned, the powder is now yellow and has a strange curry-like smell. Much worse though is the horrible, bitter chemical taste, which has made this product basically inedible. Why has this formula changed and why is My Protein not doing anything about resolving the issues with their loyal customers? Personally, I would like to return the items for a refund. Goes Well With: Nothing now.

Like others I have purchased this product many times before and because the unflavoured version was pretty much tasteless. The new bacth however has the worse aftertaste of any protein I have had. It's smells and tastes just wrong and sour. I couldn't drink it and it's gone in the bin. Won't be buying again

Collagen is great for the skin, hair and all the connective tissue in our body. Hence I knew I wanted to have this daily. Great results after a month of use and tastes great! Happy there's no sugar

My first unflavoured bag was great, virtually tasteless. The second bag has a definite unpleasant taste (along the beefy, bovrilly line). It’s not pleasant, and I won’t be reordering. It mixes okay but there are some lumps and these are unpleasantly chewy if you don’t just chug it down.  Goes Well With: Definitely not coffee

I wish I'd read the reviews before buying this! I usually buy unflavoured whey protein, so I thought this would taste the same, just with the addition of collagen. Unfortunately, it was so extremely bitter and completely inedible. I had one mouthful and couldn't manage anymore. I haven't tried to mix it with anything else as the taste is overpowering and disgusting, it would just ruin that too. It's such a shame as I went straight for the 2.5kg. Anyone want a spare bag of Collagen Protein Powder? Goes Well With: Nothing! It's not edible.
