On first taste, it was overpowering with the artificial sweetener, very metallic. Also the blender doesn't like it much, shake well before and pulse a few times. I'm used to natural sweeteners so maybe get used to it. Now I have had about 6, I use unsweetened almond milk and a tablespoon of peanut butter (100% peanut, no sweetener) this helps with the flavour and the texture is great. 300ml milk for a generous scoop of powderGoes Well With:Peanut butter
Plant based protein source with good texture. Good with oatmeal. I ordered some without flavour (and no artificial sweetners) and I mixed it with some stevia flavdrops.Goes Well With:flavdrops, oatmeal, water
I started off hating this protein, it has the consistency of wallpaper paste, however I was keen to reduce my dairy based protein intake so I experimented with ways to make this product more palletable and found that by adding a teaspoon of coffee and blending, this becomes a gorgeous early morning pick me up. Goes Well With:Superfoods xs and coffee
There's a lot of reviews saying that it's too thick but I've not had this problem! 1 scoop with 250mls of water & it's great! Much better than the unflavoured hemp protein, that stuff is really thick! This is great because it tastes good, it's lacto free & vegan. Love it! Goes Well With:Water!
I've been powerlifting and training strongman events on and off for about 6 years now and mostly eat food for fuel but from time to time I go on a weight gainer or Protein shake. I've had many over the years from oats and whey, whey, veggie protein, whey and creatine, bulk powders etc. I got this as a gift. Soy in the chocolate flavour and use it with a precision engineered shaker and tornado shaker. Sometimes a little powder is left in a little tiny clump in the lid after the shake but the powder is so smooth it doesn't matter much at all. The texture is very smooth and goes down easy and so far half way down the bag I haven't gotten gassy yet. The flavour of smooth chocolate mixes well with the powders texture when mixed and this powder doesn't seem to stink out my glass or shaker if left for a little period after use. I think I've found my powder to be fair. I really enjoy this product!Goes Well With:Blue top milk.
I usually order brown rice protein but it is unflavoured, I decided to go for soy protein so that I could have a flavour. It tastes amazing but it stays very lumpy when I try to mix it in my normal protein shaker so I have to use a blender instead. I'm not sure whether this is normal for soy protein or if some moisture got into my particular packet as it was partially open when it arrived (which I was pretty unhappy about as some of it got wasted.) Keep in mind this probably had more to do with royal mail's handling of my pckage rather than anything myprotein did, so I'm happy with the site and would highly recommend to others.Goes Well With:Oats
Great product, I use 5 times a day, Good in a shake or in a bar, as a pancake or a smoothie, I always have a bag or more in reserve so I am never without. I highly recommend this protein product. Goes Well With:Milk, oats, flavouring, nuts, fruit, frozen/fresh/dried, yogurt, Cocoa, and anything else you'd like to mix in to a shake or bake.
Strawberry cream does not taste nice, and is very thick when mixed with water
I was looking for a lactose-free product, they say, that in whey isolate or hidrolisation does not contain any lactose, but they cost plenty of money, so stayed with Soy protein. I tried Strawbery and chocholate. Straberry mixes wonderfully. i wish i could say that also from the chocholate, could be drink but ehh.Goes Well With:Lactose-free low-fat unflavoured yoghurt, milk, water
I bought chocolate smooth, it tasted good. I used more liquid than recommended because it mixes very thick. I previously bought pea protien that tasted vile, so I now mix these two together and the taste of the pea protien is tolerable. On its own, the soy chocolate is good.Goes Well With:Any liquid, and a banana .
First of all its lovely strawberry cream tastes delicious i have it with almond milk and it tastes just like strawberry angel delight. Problem is it has that consistency. Now i like it i got soy cos whey doesnt seem to agree with me and i dont know if its the soy or the fact that it has become food and not a drink for me but my stomach feels great on this stuff, so its great for me but this is terrible at mixing and being sold as a pudding would be more accurate. It tastes great but is not good for a quick protein increase on the go.Goes Well With:Almond milk.......A Spoon!!
I normally have whey protein but recently discovered I have a milk allergy so tried this. The best way to describe this is angel delight... it is so thick it doesn't come out my shaker. It should be sold as a dessert mousse. Make sure you take a spoon with you to the gym.Goes Well With:A bowl and spoon.
I'm sensitive to milk proteins and this is a good alternative. The texture and taste are fine but it would be good if they introduced coffee and or banana flavour. I like it because it doesn't have added carbs so is useful when I'm keeping a close eye on my carb consumption. It must be really difficult to make coffee flavoured sports drinks, gels etc as there are so few on the market. It must be a taste people like or we wouldn't have so many coffee shops.
Tastes great and is not heavy. It is very dense, though. I could only eat it as a puddin sort-of, with a spoon. Since my intention has never been to take it with a shaker right after workout it works great for me.Goes Well With:sweets.
The taste on its own is an issue but I mix with bananas and ice and it's great (and ofcourse milk)Goes Well With:Bananas, ice and milk
Awful stuff. I've had in the past varied flavours of whey isolate and whey protein which have all been absolutely fine. This stuff is bizarre. When mixed with fluid it turns into this awful gloopy slop 😝 Like porridge !..Real thick stuff, as if it has an added thickener in it ? I much prefer my shakes the consistency of a normal milk shake. The whole bag has been binned. I'm not really a fussy person and don't like to waste money, but there's no way I could attempt to finish this stuff. Goes Well With:I tried with almond milk, cows milk and water but still the consistency was like porridge.
Flavour: Unflavoured. I can generally stomach a lot, but this stuff is just the worst. The texture is so bad, it's thick like cement and gloopy. I actually turned my shaker upside down and it took about 10s to drip out. I added double the water and it was almost just as bad. Unfortunately I was not allowed to get a refund. I wish MyProtein put a warning on the product that it's basically cement.Goes Well With:Bricks
I've bought this product and was a bit sceptical because soya products usually test like chalk but this one is not too bad. I'd say it taste better than some whey protein...Goes Well With:Armond or rice milk, awful with water though..
I get the odd lump as I don't use a mixer but the taste is good and it's very filling.Goes Well With:Water, Koko or other nut/vegan milk
Taste is really good. Not like pea protein at all, really palatable.Goes Well With:Berries
