My protein supplements are like a dream come true.Vegetarian sources of proteins include legumes, nuts, seeds and fruits. Legumes, some of which are called pulses in certain parts of the world, have higher concentrations of amino acids and are more complete sources of protein than whole grains and cereals. Examples of vegetarian foods with protein concentrations greater than seven percent include soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, white beans, mung beans, chickpeas, cowpeas, lima beans, pigeon peas, lupines, wing beans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, cotton seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. This made me very bloated and have a poor belly. Do not recommend buying this because of the horrible flavour it adds. Vitargo is a better solution for easy carbs.Goes Well With:Nothing
Doesnt mix very well if you want to sweeten your shake use tricarb insteadGoes Well With:protein shake
Slight chalky taste but barely noticeable. Mixes easily in shaker cup and cheaper than other suppliers especially when on discount.Goes Well With:squats
Does exactly what it says, has absolutely no flavour, it does have a chalky texture, but mix it with your BCAA or Creatine and it's easy. 44 grams of carbs, perfect bulking supplement ! Just ordered another bag.Goes Well With:BCAA, Creating, Protein.
Good when mix with bcca powder but need mix a lot before utilisation all the timeGoes Well With:Bcaa
Easy to mix into a shake and good amount of carbs, helps me hit my daily macros easily. Can be a bit gritty in taste, but might just be as I make my shakes quite thick with little water. Doesn't taste like anything so easy to drink. Goes Well With:Impact Whey Chocolate Smooth
After trying dextrose which was just sugar basically. I tried waxy maize starch. Found it to be very good as it tastes fine and mixes easily with my Shake. Great for getting carbs in. It can make a mess though, would recommend buying a MyProtein tub to pour it into as you can scoop it out easier without making a mess. Goes Well With:MyProtein whey. Water
I add waxy maize to my protein shakes to get my carbs up. It's great for making gains. The thin powder means it mixes well. I will continue to buy this product.Goes Well With:Stevia banana whey protein powder (or another flavour of your choice)

Good stuff I have after my workout Goes Well With:I mix with my protien shake
Compared to Maltodextrin, this is more expensive, mixable only by using a mixer and has a slight hint of a maize / vegetable / disgust taste, it is still by far the better - I would even argue the best - carb powder. The reason is the much lower glycemic index, which means that the sugar chains are longer and harder to break down. This means a more consistent blood sugar. Aside from reducing the chance of type 2 diabetes, I can feel the difference. With this, I feel constantly energetic throughout the day. There is no fullness after meals or low blood sugar between meals. I found this to be slightly better tasting than the competitors bulkpowders and theproteinworks. This is the carb source in my diy Soylent, so I have been eating more than 250g of this daily for the last couple of months. I do not understand why this is marketed as a fast acting carbohydrate or why it is marketed as such. Fast acting carbs = blood sugar variation which makes you more tired and more prone to type 2 diabetes!
Not suitable for me! Had a stomack pain and diarrhea! So If you have a weak digestive system this product is not for you!
This is a excellent product I use always after workout. Thanks a lot MyProtein
In my opinion waxy maize is essential post workout cutting or bulking. This is the best value for money on the market don't buy it anywhere else Goes Well With:Impact whey
Product has helped me get those extra calories that I needed
Waxy maize starch is a fantastic post work out carb.
Been adding this to my post workout shakes for about 3 weeks now, seems to give desired results. Taste is vile, although it wasn't purchased for taste, and mixing with whey it isn't a problem. One drawback is the fact that it goes absolutely everywhere when decanting, and with the consistency of a thick flour, it's not the easiest to clear up. Would recommend as a great, fast acting post workout carb. Saying this, I will be moving back to dextrose after my bag is finished.Goes Well With:Whey
Use this post workout to replenish lost glycogen's, seems to aid recovery, great value alternative to Optimum Nutrition Waxy Maize. Taste is a little odd but nothing too peculiar...Goes Well With:Water, protein shake etc.
