It is also found naturally in dairy products, eggs, soy and vegetable proteins but none of these compares in quality to whey protein powder. It also scores highly in providing the branched chain amino acids that are important in the building and retention of muscle.Whey protein is highly favored by bodybuilders because it provides the necessary building blocks to produce the amino acids that the body uses to build lean muscle tissue. Many studies have shown that whey protein contains the perfect combination of amino acids, in just the right concentration for optimal performance in the body. It is also thought that whey protein has a role as an anti-oxidant and immune system builder. It is best taken in powder form mixed in juice or milk, spread throughout the day to maintain a positive nitrogen balance. Serious bodybuilders often consume up to one hundred fifty grams each day but as a rule of thumb, daily protein intake for active trainers can be calculated by taking your weight in pounds and multiplying by one or two. But remember, you need to work out how much protein is taken from food and other sources, and then spread the remaining whey protein balance over the day.Whey protein is a relatively safe supplement but no more than thirty grams of protein should be taken at one sitting as excessive single doses could overload the liver. The safety of whey protein has been well documented in many scientific studies and there is clear proof that taken consistently, coupled with regular exercise, it will result in meaningful muscle gain.
Whenever you buy Myprotein, you know you're paying for quality. Best time to take protein is one of the times that your body is in need of it the most is immediately following a workout since your body starts to heal the muscle right after a workout, taking protein at that time will give the body the fuel it needs to heal and grow.Following your workout it's a good idea to take in small meals containing high protein in about three to four hour intervals, thereby providing your muscles with a constant supply of protein to help your muscles heal. It is also vital to take in a protein drink or a slow burning protein (such as cottage cheese) before you go to bed therefore providing your muscles with protein, since your body will be slowly depleted of protein as you sleep. Breakfast is a key meal as well, because your body awaits nourishment after sleeping for 8-12 hours. One of the best tips of advice I can give you though, is to eat consistently, day in and day out.Conclusioone of the times that your body is in need of it the most is immediately following a workout since your body starts to heal the muscle right after a workout, taking protein at that time will give the body the fuel it needs to heal and grow.
My protein supplements are genuine with no side effects. Anyone who have a dream to built muscles should use these supplements.Today we will discuss about benefits of protein in our body.Protein is in the spotlight these days, with articles touting diets high in protein and advertisements for protein powders in the media. Protein is, of course, an important building block in the body, but it is not the only building block. And furthermore, protein is made up of a variety of substances, with the result that not all protein sources are equal in value. Here are some of the facts about proteins Protein is essential to a healthy heart and a healthy body; animal sources of protein including eggs are better for you nutritionally since they contain all of the essential amino acids; as with most nutrients and vitamins, both too much and too little protein have detrimental effects on the body; and, protein cannot be stocked up like fat but must be eaten daily. Protein is the basic nutrient and plays an essential role in carrying cholesterol and preventing heart disease. The human body in its complexity needs dozens of nutritive substances. The one that stands before all others is protein, or proteins, since there is not one but hundreds of kinds of protein. Here’s what protein contributes We are literally made of protein from our bones to our muscles, arteries and veins, skin, hair, and fingernails. Our heart, brain, liver, kidneys, and lungs are built of tissue made of proteins. Proteins help carry the oxygen that reddens our blood. In the form of enzymes, proteins digest our food, synthesize essential substances, and break down waste products for elimination. When fat and carbohydrates are insufficient, proteins produce the energy we need for life. Proteins in combination with a substance called sterols form hormones, which regulate the delicate chemical changes that constantly take place within the body. The chromosomes, which pass on our characteristics to our children, include protein in their structure. Protein is needed to carry fat and cholesterol throughout the body.
dissolves quickly, I just spoon it into my mouth then drink some water. If you do find it too sour like some of the reviewers, that's a good way to get it over with quickly. Wasn't a problem for me though. Great price if you want bulk Vit C.Goes Well With:water
I was looking for this kind of Vitamin C for long time. Easily soluble, good tasting if you like sour flavour. Can't imagine my day without this Vitamin C

This Vitamin C Powder tastes very acidic if you mix it with just water. Mixability isn't that great either. I would definitely recommend to use this in other drinks so that you can't taste it that much. Next time I am getting the capsules!
I am in Paleo since some months, and I integrate wth Vitamine C + D and Omega. I found this Vitamin C really a good deal. Taste is fine and mixability too.
It's great to finally find this Vitamin C Powder! It's so expensive to get at a supermarket or health shop in the tiny quantities.Goes Well With:in shakes, mixed in orange juice, put into baking to add a kick.
This powder is very good at mixing into any liquid however it is extremely sour and has a very potent taste. It is not particularly pleasant. I've tended to use it just solely with water as fruit juice is too sweet. I always do use it whilst exercising, so I tend to drink it regardless of taste. Feel refreshed after use though!Goes Well With:Water, or water and frozen fruits
The Vitamin C Powder is easy to swallow, with good effectiveness. It's excellent value for money.
Great price for a great and important product.
This Vitamin C Powder is great value and quality. It's a powerful antioxidant which I am using to help me recover from M.E. I use it along side D ribose (which feed and improve the health of the mitochondria which produce energy in every cell of the body), Acetyl l Cartinine (helps in the production of energy and helps essential fats pass into the cells) and Alpha Lipoic Acid (to aid detoxification). I am sure these products are helping my recovery.Goes Well With:D Ribose, Acetyl l Cartinine and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
