Always liked myprotein powders, never left a negative review. But after trying to cut back on dairy I thought I’d give the vegan blend a go. I tried using 250ml, then 500ml and the 750ml of water, even used a blender. This powder just doesn’t mix. Every time it left a flour/chalk like texture in the mouth and half of the mixture just sticks to the blender. Absolutely awful unfortunately.  Goes Well With: The bin.

I rather liked the original chocolate smooth flavour, especially when mixed with almond or coconut milk. However, this new recipe tastes strangely bitter, which I really don’t like. It’s such a shame as I really liked the old recipe. I hope one day they can bring it back... I won’t be buying the new recipe again. Goes Well With: -

As my body finds it difficult to tolerate the necessary level of whey protein, I decided to try the Vegan Blend. It is truly foul. I've lived with it on and off for a few months but it is just too unpalatable. I'm aware that the latest Vegan Blend is a new receipe but it's also more expensive than the original one. Looks like I need to find a different supplier. Goes Well With: Absolutely nothing.

This protein tastes like grit. I managed to have 1/3 of the packet and have now decided to cut my losses and buy another brand. I previously used whey protein vanilla and recently switched to being vegan. This is in no way remotely comparable to the non-vegan option and it is a shame if this is the best that can be achieved in the vegan space.
