Vegan, but without having the taste and texture of vegan protein bars. My protein have also avoided the artificial taste that some Banoffee flavour foods have. All round great protein bar for a snack on the go.

I've seen a lot of places touting various goods as vegan, with tag lines such as 'you can't tell the difference' etc etc. Based on several previous positive experiences with MyProtein in general, I took a punt on the Banoffee variant of this MyVegan Carb Crusher bar. I've taken one bite, of which I spat most of it out. The banoffee flavour is a pretty strong synthetic flavour, which isn't the greatest. But the texture is where it really falls apart - literally. Compared to the regular carb crusher bars, this feels like it has had all the moisture and joy removed from it. The consistency is almost powdery, which when mixed with saliva becomes a pretty foul, gritty mess in your mouth. I'm all for companies trying to make things healthier/more environmentally friendly, but with this particular product, MyProtein haven't just missed the mark, they've missed the entire target range!

Once added into muffins or cookies or porridge, adds a really nice flavour and the texture grows on you. Maybe a bit too high in fats to be considered a 'carb' crusher Goes Well With: Muffins, porridge, cookies, toast + pb

This is a great snack that keeps you full until your next meal and proper satisfies your chocolate cravings. It does have the protein taste as expected and the texture is surprisingly powdery but nevertheless still yum!
