Taste acceptable by itself but easily mixes with protein powder. Feels like it is doing me good!Goes Well With:Protein powder choc flavour
This is so tasty ( I use the tropical one) , and I will admit that it does smell weird and I was nervous to try it at first but it does taste nice. I will say that I do find it slightly grainy but it isn't obvious unless you don't mix in enough water.Goes Well With:Water
I bought this as a supplement and have it as an addition to meals. The tropical taste is not bad considering it masks the taste of the ingredients. I usually add more water and use it as an alternative to high sugar content energy drinks, and find it perks me up, and helps me keep my fluid intake up. Works for me so will continue to buy.Goes Well With:Just water.
The whey protein is good and works well with fruit in smoothies. However I have asked my Protein 3 times why do they use Palm oil in there products, STILL NO REPLY?. Palm oil is ranked as bad as Trans fats or Hydrogenated oils by the world health org. In addition all the damage done by planting Palm oil plantations such as: killing Tigers/ Orangutans and all manner of wildlife in the Far east this I have seen first hand in Indonesia & Malaysia.
The taste of the tropical flavour is good and it mixes very well, but does have an after taste which isn't unpleasant. Unfortunately it gave me acid reflux. So it obviously a sensitivity issue.
Had both tropical and unflavoured. I personally just chuck the unflavoured in my gob and wash it down quickly- not for the faint hearted. Tropical, I mix with water, it taste like a standard chemical tropical flavour with an aftertaste like a spoonful of your garden, bearable and worth it for the nutritional content Goes Well With:A dose of Man up and a quick swig of water
I have the tropical flavour version and I was totally shocked that it didn't taste awful. I'm pretty picky with food and usually dislike most things but this I really liked. I have 3 scoops with my Bulletproof brain octane and the whey isolate from here in a shake and then i have the same for a mid morning snack. Really helped with my low carb/high fat was of eating. Goes Well With:Whey Isolate, Bulletproof brain octane (or and other C8/C10 MCT oil) or on its own.
After having bouts of sickness over the last few months I started taking this everyday and can say I feel a lot better. Always put off by nutri greens for their taste and non mix ability. Saw a bodybuilder mention it tastes great and thought I'd give it a try, got the tropical flavour and it tastes & mixers great! 👌Goes Well With:Water
I used to have guinea pigs and this tastes exactly how their food used to smell. I thought I could hack the unflavoured with water, however, if you're like me and don't like drinking compost water it's not for you- go for the flavoured. Saying that, I have had it in a smoothie with vanilla protein and raspberries and it is completely undetectable, apart from the fact that my usual pink smoothie is now dark brown/green. Good if you want to get greens in, but not with water by itself (mix it in properly as i tried to drink it without properly mixing it and got a mouth full of soggy guinea pig food paste0) Goes Well With:smoothies!
tried it in a smoothie and i really didnt like it however i started adding it on top of my rice bowls and noodles which actually gives it a very nice savory taste!Goes Well With:rice
A really good product. Unflavoured has a really strong 'greens' taste, but the tropical, for me, is a bit sweet and the taste is a bit strong, so I tend to use half and half, which works. Mixes well. Really good way to increase greens intake, but it would be better if there was improved information about what a serving size equates to in 'real' veg terms.Goes Well With:Pea Protein Isolate in a smoothie.
Great product to help get the greens intake up, this is especially important if you're on a high protein diet and lifting, as the protein and hard exercise creates an acidic environment in your body and the greens help to neutralise it. Goes Well With:The unflavoured, Tastes like a mashup of all the greens you don't like but I mix it with protein shake, cacoa powder and it tastes acceptable.
It tastes really bad. I just can't bring myself to drink this stuff anymore. Difficult to blend, hard to get rid of lumps. A blender doesn't work - I found the shaker bottle works best, but you'll often still get little lumps. Plus, shaking / mixing it means foam. Disgusting foam. It's like pond water with nasty, nasty sea-scurf foam. I tried mixing it into a green smoothie - 2 mini scoops (suggested serving size) just overpowers the taste of the smoothie and makes even the nicest smoothie taste gross, even if its a green veg smoothie (you can sometimes mix 1 scoop in and get away with it). I tried mixing it with a green soup - you can kind of get away with hiding the taste of 1 scoop, in something like pea soup say, but not 2. I've just now bought the capsules, because the taste of the powder just makes my mouth sad. If you can handle daily sad mouth, maybe the powder is better, but I can't be doing with it. I would really like to see more info on the back about how much of what this stuff contains exactly. Aside from that, I can't prove anything but I do feel like it's effective. Some of my friends have had a slurp when they feel like they're getting ill, and it seems that it has really helped them from getting sick. I feel pretty healthy since taking it and haven't got a cold in a year. Goes Well With:Myprotein Shaker Bottle
I've no idea if this is any good as I've only been using it a short while but it tastes delicious!Goes Well With:Bedtime
Only just started using Total Nutri Greens a few days ago so i can't yet comment on the expected nutritional effects. But i can tell you it tastes and mixes a lot better than another well known brand (beginning with B) i have tried before. It is also much better value for money- i got 55 servings of this one compared to 22 for the same price of the other brand. I mix with either a shake or fresh fruit juice. Although in juice it doesn't quite mix as well so needs 'chugging' down. Great for adding to meal replacement shakes such as a breakfast protein smoothie. Saves the chopping and prep of various veg for smoothies i used to have to do at stupid o'clock in the morning. Definitely use a flavoured protein to mix with if buying the unflavoured, as it has a slight hint of pond water about it.Goes Well With:Fruit juice (orange is best) Flavoured protein powder
I already had 2 other "green foods" when I ordered this but loved it so much, I couldn't stop drinking it, just as a refreshing drink, especially post ultra marathon to rehydrate! Gorgeous flavour. Love it
Do not buy! This tastes so bad I literally had 1 sip and made me gip. It would taste nicer to just eat the vegetables Goes Well With:Nothing
Really like the taste & it has worked wonders on my digestive system & skin Win win !
A great way to get all the goodness without needing to eat vegetables to get it! Goes Well With:Impact whey flavourless protein
I have to psych myself up to drink this every morning as it tastes dsgusting! Will order the unsweetened one next time as the tropical one has artificial sweeteners in it. Can't comment on effectiveness only used it a few times. Goes Well With:Nothing
