Firstly, I love Myprotein's soy protein, I've been buying it for years. I usually buy unflavoured (which is great) and chocolate. However, when I opened the chocolate smooth last week and had it in a shake ... YUCK!! Myprotein is clearly using a new recipe as the texture and flavour is completely different - not In a good way! I can't stomach the new taste! PLEASE go back to the old recipe!!!Goes Well With:unflavoured in smoothies and porridge
This does not taste good(chocolate smooth flavour)... Dont know if its the sweetner or the soy but it barely tastes chocolatey... Ive tried to mix it with hot chocolate powder and it didnt even disguise the taste. Only thing that is actually okay to do with it is make protein pancakes but even then without peanut butter and banana on top i wouldnt eat it. However i am dairy free and need to get my protein in for training....Still on the hunt for a soy protein that taste nice!
I must say I'm suprised. I'm not really a fan of soy but this does wonders. Since my protein intake has been slacking I've been looking for other alternatives and this is really good. I can digest it really easy which is why I like it. The price is good, but can get even better for that, i will share you a code which gives you an additional discount off your first order when you use code 👉 KERAM-R2 👈 , with this you will make the price even lighter on your wallet. Goes Well With:Good feelings, gains
Hi guys, wish I could reply to comments but basically if you're having thick shakes, try this. Use 300ml of your milk of choice then add the protein powder afterwards. I then add a tiny bit of cold water from the tap on top of it and shake and you'll notice the consistency is that of a normal protein shake and not the sludge that barely comes out! Great tasting Chocolate Smooth and I usually add 2 sachets of Quakers Oats with Apple and Blueberry and the above rules of thumb. Tastes like a nice chocolate flapjack for on the go carbs and protein!Goes Well With:Quakers Oats Apple and Blueberry. Soya Milk. Splash of water.
I was worried about buying this product as vegan protein powders can often be a bit hit or miss, but this one seemed to be great. I got the strawberry and cream flavour which was palatable, but can be a bit sickly sweet - and I have quite a sweet tooth! I've had it as a post-workout drink, as part of my breakfast, or as an afternoon protein pick me up. It's also great to point out to my non-vegan friend that his whey strawberry and cream powder has less protein than mine! Though his does seem to smell a bit sweeter and more like ice cream compared to mine. I'm now curious to try other flavours!Goes Well With:I have one heaped scoop with 250-300 ml of water. Haven't tried it with plant-based milk as strawberry and cream flavour has enough of a creamy taste anyway.
Tried both the chocolate and Strawberry. Only have 1 scoop in pancakes or in a shake with water as on strict diet. But creamier with soy milk. They're both nice but prefer the Strawberry flavour out of the two. Mixes really well if you put liquid in 1st then add the powder last. Goes Well With:Pancakes, water or soy milk are all I've tried upto now
This product is delicious I find that it adds a pure chocolates taste to plain yogurt. The texture when mixed well is not at all powdery and does not taste too chalky. View my instagram besticanbe_ to view recipes that I enjoy mixing it in with also get 25% your first order with my discount code ERIN-RL8 Goes Well With:Yogurt
Before I went vegan I loved the Impact Whey Protein- this product has been a great substitute. I got the chocolate flavour and use a blender to mix with almond / soy milk, oats, banana and extra cocoa powder (I'm a chocoholic). Really love this as a breakfast on the go, or pre / post workout snack. Isn't as good mixed with water / shaken by hand as it goes a tad lumpy but all in all rate this product and am excited to try more of their vegan range!
The chocolate and strawberry soy shakes are great! Mix well, great protein content without the carb content of a whey protein, low carbs, high protein exactly what every girl's after!
One of my first real experiences with protein shakes and have been using them for almost a year now! I'm vegetarian and can't have too much milk so this is perfect. I actually mix it with 20% milk (animal or nut) 80% water to make sure its creamy but still okay for me to have. I always went with the chocolate smooth and with rate it highly- fantastic stuff! The taste is great, mixes easily for a shake and can be used in stuff like protein oats too. However, I decided to change it up a bit and go for vanilla and was extremely disappointed. The flavour itself is't too bad (but very sweet), it refused to mix smoothly with ANYTHING and even just minor temp changed in the liquid made it go lumpy- spent more time trying to make the thing drinkable after it went into lumpy mess than I should have to for a small shake. I understand making this kind of product is a delicate balance, but honestly I would take it off the site until its useable.
Good product. Quick delivery. A bit hard to mix unless it's done a little at a time and as part of a shake or smoothie Goes Well With:Mixed in a Smoothie
I have tried a few flavors over a range of different brands, but as i am lactose intolerant it has been hard to find one that is tasty and the right consistency. This chocolate smooth is easily the best tasting protein drink i have ever found. The vanilla one with almond butter is very nice but has a thicker consistency.Goes Well With:Smooth peanut butter
THE EMAILS YOU SEND TWENTY THOUSAND TIMES A DAY ARE SO ANNOYING AND STOP TELLING US WE NEED ALL THESE CHEMALS THAT WE DONT 'all in one supplements' OKAY DEN! Plus this protein does not mix well and tastes awful and the strawberry one makes me feel ill after every use.
Good product, mixes fairly well and the Smooth Chocolate flavour is tasty.Goes Well With:Soya Milk and Porridge!
Ive bought it first because im lactose intolerant, second because i read great reviews on here which now i have doubt about because this soy protein tastes horrible, it's so thicker than the isolate so you need to add a lot of water/milk to it. Wouldn't recommend and would neve buy it again! Goes Well With:Nothing
Reading reviews I was quite worried about this one. I don't get it, its perfectly fine. Mixes easy as whey, mixes with other stuff just as well. Not like cement or whatever people said. I had Soy, Oats, Creatine mono & BCAA with some nesquick powder in a bottle of water. Soy didn't taste of anything other then a very light creamy mouth feel. The chocolate powder I used barely changed the taste so all I could taste was oats. Don't worry just get it and probably no need to use milk (maybe why people get bad results?) PLEASE MAKE FLAVOURED VERSIONS! IT'L WORK!Goes Well With:Water, Oats Flavouring.
This stuff tastes amazing, I've tried vegan chocolate protein from other brands and been disappointed in the flavour. This is so chocolatey you can forget it's a protein powder! Goes Well With:Coconut milk (all vegan milks), water, in soya yoghurt, in smoothies, in pancakes and cookies...the list goes on!
The vanilla flavour tastes so good, it doesn't even matter that it doesn't mix well into things like porridge, because the vanilla lumps are so good! I've noticed a change in my muscle tone already, where I am losing weight, without losing my muscle. Thanks myprotein!Goes Well With:Banana and soy milk shake Porridge
I take this supplement because a have a dairy allergy so I can't have whey, it makes a really nice tasting protein shake. The only downside is that my protein only do the flavoured soy protein in 1kg bags if they could start making them in larger sizes it would be great.
I'm lactose intolerant so bought this protein instead of the regular. The chocolate smooth tastes absolutely disgusting, it's so much thicker than the isolate so you need to add a lot of water/milk to it and it's impossible to drink. Wouldn't recommend. Goes Well With:Nothing
