The taste is Awful and a horrible consistency. They are absolutely nothing like cookies. It's more like a very very stale flapjack type thing. Really really awful. I couldn't even give them away to my friends after they tried them! If you can manage to force them down the macros are good :P Goes Well With:A protein shake. If you drink the shake and put the cookie in the bin.
If you try these expecting them to resemble the dense unhealthy goodness -- that is, the regular cookies you'll be in for a shock. I bought the white chocolate and cranberry version, preferring this over both the non "diet" options (that stand at a hefy 300 something calories) and the alternate chocolate one. The texture isn't too bad, it's quite similar to a lot of protein-foods. Which I personally really like -- the chew seems to make them last longer. However, there's a slight powdery-ness that you don't get with protein bars, and you can't taste the white chocolate in it. For the nutritional value they're pretty good though, which is the whole reason I considered them in the first place. Not sure whether or not I would buy them again, maybe for the nutritional stand-point I will. Goes Well With:Tea, coffee, by itself.
Great flavour and texture, not dry unlike some other brands. Good macros, Can have a treat without the guilt! Goes Well With:Cuppa tea/coffee
Macros are OK, but to be honest there are better tasting things out there... (Carb kills, PhD smart bard etc.) Good price though!
Being a relative newbie to training and increasing my protein intake I decided to buy some food products with my Whey protein order and picked the dark chocolate and berry skinny cookies. The first time I tried it I found it really strange and wasn't too sure if I really like it but I gave it another go and now I can't get enough of them! Not as much protein as the normal cookie but I think the texture and taste is so much better and I'm on my third order of these! I actually got stressed the other day when I had to wait for them to come back in stock. Goes Well With:Fine on their own.
Probably the worst tasting peice of food I've ever eaten.
After reading some of the reviews, I decided to input my opinion. I like these, I actually like the taste. I have tried the cranberry and I have tried the lemon one. I find them filling and the macros are really decent. Good amount of protien. They may be a little bit dry, but very crumbly and quite nice. I do enjoy these if I am honest! And it hits my cravings nicely, without the desire to have another... even though I may have once or twice ;-). Goes Well With:With a cup of coffee before a workout
Can't go wrong with this choice, low sugar, 25g protein, not to bad for price, will buy again. Nice taste.
I love these cookies. They taste awesome and are a great low calorie alternative that still provides a good hit of protein. I've already ordered more
I really wanted to like these, as I love so much of the other my protein range. sadly though, these just didn't deliver. I found them to taste chemically, and I generally struggle to get through them. I went for the cranberry and white chocolate ones. they simply are not for me, but I know of other people who think they are fab. So just giving my personal opinion.
The chocolate & berry are delicious They are moist, chocolatey with a slight chew and crunch for the fruit/seeds. I've also tried the other flavours, white chocolate and berry are also delicious. Lemon & chia seed crunchy but a little dry but ok with a cuppa. Goes Well With:Tea
Ordered these thinking that when my friends have naughty treats I could have this instead....not at all what I expected. Has a rubbery texture and leaves abit of a weird after taste. Would buy again only for the fact it stops me eating worse but maybe would try a different flavour.Goes Well With:Cup of Yorkshire tea!
Okay I have given these a try and must admit they taste rank, but then we ain't eating this stuff for taste are we! They've got a nice amount of protien in them are ideal for a quick snack, I've just ordered the dark chocolate ones gleefully they taste better.
These are the worst product I've ever bought. I couldn't eat half of one. Would not recommend, would not buy again. Goes Well With:Nothing
Love these! Nice to have an actual cookie, texture is more dense than crumbly but I like that. Tastes like a protein cookie but a good one in my opinion. The chocolate berry one is lovely, the white chocolate one is barely edible.
Awful- syntethic tasting cookies! The smell out me off before I even had a bite and the taste was even worse! Absolutely vile. Worst protein product I've ever tried
Considering the amount of protein and carbs here for the number of calories this is a fantastic treat. Doesn't taste as good as normal cookie but what do you expect at 200 calories. If you're looking for a guilt free snack and dieting look no further than these babies.Goes Well With:Coffee, Hot choc etc
Great tasting, packed with protein and great if you're on the move!!
Gutted I bought a whole box of these they are terrible! Taste and texture is so strange- not impressed :-(
Loved the white choc cranberry one. Macros are great, 25gm protein and very low in carbs and fat. Texture could've been better though
